I am here in Penticton for work, and I did not have enough time to send back my steak. I ordered a rare/medium rare 12oz new... york strip, my waitress informed me about 25 min after I ordered that there was a mix up and she had put me down for a 14ozporterhouse instead. I thought this would be an upgrade. When my steak arrived at the table it was grey with very littlebrowning or grill marks cooked fully well done and tough as nails. Not what you expect from a restaurant charging $40-$50 asteak. Also my sauteed veggies were soaked with oil to the point that's all you could taste. I have eaten here before and lovedit. My first five star meal in Penticton. The quality is excellent and everything seems home made from the honey mustard to the... bacon cheese sauce for the mac and cheese. The Big Buck is the best burger I've had in Canada. Made with Wagyu and house madesauce. Must try plate. As we were leaving, a staff member was carefully cutting herbs from the front planters for one of theplates. Unexpected craft that really shows on the plate. Read more
We only had a small dish here but we really enjoyed it and really liked the atmosphere. The prices were really good and the... cocktails were unique and creative. My cocktail was a bit warm but that?s my only complaint! We?ll definitely be back to try abigger meal. Read more
The vibe is great. Super trendy and just...cool. The hostess was super and seated us on the patio right away. Our server was... rushed - not her fault - it seemed, like many other places right now, to be under staffed. She was rushed and largelyindifferent I suppose. I ordered the White Bourbon - and it was lackluster. My partner ordered a short rye coke press - and hegot rye with water only. He had to request a side of coke (Pepsi), and he was charged for it even though our server didn't getthe drink order right. My partner ordered the ribs and said they were excellent, albeit a little spicy but delicious. I orderedthe brie and prosciutto Wagyu burger and it was...a letdown. The prosciutto was cold and seemed stale (?). I was hard pressed tofind any brie on or in the burger. Definitely wouldn't chance that one again. The side Ceasar salad was excellent. This is a hard review since we had only one dish, first the positives. Staff friendly and nice, the restaurant is great for... patio and inside. Looks lice and has a good feel, loved the crazy music mix. Now onto the part that made this hard. We decidedto do the 14 ounce steak for 2, and boy did we get a disappointment. Meat was not done correctly, was probably hard to get agood medium rare on a cut of meat so thin. We also asked if was truly a meal for two of if we would be disappointed, our serversaid it would be good for two people. It was not even close to filling with the sides. The sides tasted great but I will beupfront in saying this is a overpriced meal for one. I hope this dish is taken of the menus or at least renamed. Was sodisappointed I actually talked to to the person in charge. For only a sift manager it was handled great, think it was Steve. Look back on the experience I am in a better place but night of I was very, very unhappy. Would I go back? Probably not. Willyou enjoy it? Was here on the weekend and have to say it was a real delight. Server who had our table was delightful and funny. Pleasant... diolouges and interaction. Food was incredible and portions amazing. Pics don't show really how much food you are getting. Forthe price point a really great deal. Had the old fashioned served the restaurants way and although a little sweet still had theboozy taste. Really enjoyed it. Worth stopping in and taking the great atmosphere and great service. Read more
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was great. Got the Spin Dip. Massive portions and it was freaking delicious. Loved every... bite. Loved the atmosphere, all the staff seemed to be enjoying work, all smiles and laughs. I most certainly recommend! Read more
