I brought my folks here for lunch a few days ago, and WOW was it better than expected. It's rarely a compliment to call... something 'pub food,' but this wasn't your everyday fare ? the turkey & brie sandwich was filled with proper oven-roasted turkeyrather than deli-meat, and the strawberries were a nice change over the more traditional cranberry sauce. The fries were supercrispy, too, and not greasy ? just what you're hoping for when you indulge a not-so-healthy treat! We also got tater-tots, whichI haven't had since I was a kid, and they too were SO good! My folks shared the braised short ribs, and from the chorus of"Mmmmmmm!" noises and the fact both their plates were scraped clean, that rich brown gravy and the fall-apart-tender ribs wereexactly as good as they looked. We'll be going back again soon, and I'm ordering those ribs! I didn't realize the food wasphoto-worthy until we'd already eaten most of our meals, so while the images aren't instagram-worthy, they'll hint why weabsolutely LOVED our meals. This place is amazing. Great food and a wide selection of Irish Beers all at a very reasonable price. Service is exceptional and... the main Man Riley always takes good care of us. Stuffed Yorkies are a must and the Steak and Guinness Pie is always on point.Great times with great people!! Our favorite Irish Pub in Vancouver. Read more
Nice place to be. Food is quite good, we had delicious flat bread and Salmon Burgers. Fries are very good as well.
Just needed a quiet corner, a beer or 2 and an appetizer. Staff and servers are friendly and unobtrusive and craft beer from... Yellow Dog on for happy hour. Will be back! Read more
Had the fish and chips, and it was good, but a little wet on the back side. My friend has had the same another time, and it was... crisper then so maybe just bad luck. Service was great, beer selection too. Smoked porter and white cranberry sour - yum! Wasquite noisy... a few of the regulars I think? But will be a hood place to stop when the patio is dry! Read more
Great pub! Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. Excellent selection of local craft beers. Really good pub food, but the... nachos are absolutely fantastic! They use their own homemade chips that are made from thinly sliced potatoes. When you go, youhave to try the nachos! An easy 10 minute walk from Inlet Station in Port Moody. We try to go about once a week, when inVancouver. Most definitely going again! Read more

A great local pub in Newport Village. Staff were very attentive and personable. Came here for the World Cup game (8am early... opening) and even though it was packed, the staff did an amazing job catering to the guests. Would definitely recommend comingby for a casual dinner and drink. Read more
