A fun little 50s America themed diner, specializing in sundaes. This would be a good place to take kids. The sandwiches are... mostly fried or burgers. Good fries and onion rings. The ice cream sundae and shakes were excellent. We were there after 6pm inNovember, so hardly anyone else. The guy serving us was very friendly and patient. Fun place. Read more

Omar owns the business. His cousin Fabian helps also. They're very friendly. We come here often so we've become friends with... Omar and have met his wife and cute children. The food is great. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the bay. It'sbusiest between 12:00 and 5:00. Read more

Basic menu but food was good. They were a little show in getting the food out to us but we didn't mind waiting and listening to... good ole oldies. Great ambiance. Read more

I've always love this diner and its ambience, down to the juke box and the awesome vintage signage. My most recent visit had me... eating lunch with a friend amidst tourists to the upbeat sounds of Elvis, Buddy Holly, and The Big Bopper. We were greeted bythe youngest and moat polite waiter ever, who took our order and brought us our drinks with efficiency and maturity far beyondhis years. When I ordered fish tacos, he informed me they were out of fish but was quick to offer shrimp in its place (which Iaccepted happily). He also warned me that the sauce accompanying the tacos might be "a little spicy". He was not joking! Thesauce is made in house, is packed with both flavor and heat, and goes well with both the tacos and my friends fries. Absolutelyawesome place, on the beach, with great service, great food, and great music. Read more

Worst service of my life. I have never complained about a restaurant ever before, we seated ourselves and waited 10 minutes,... asked waitress if we need to order at the front and she said they would come to us, another 10 minutes and nothing. I went tofind a waitress and she did not speak English just smiled and nodded. I finally flagged down an older man and politely asked ifsomeone could please take our order. My mom who is visiting from out of state ordered the crab sandwich and he said "we've beenout of crab for 4 months." With a blank stare as of we were supposed to know that? So we all ordered and have now been here 1hour with no drinks or food. After an hour we again politely asked if there was an ETA for the food and we're treated like wewere out of line for asking. He said "I've worked here 26 years I know how this works I've got other tables too." I told him Iunderstand but an apology would have been nice and he said "ok" and walked away. Food came a few minutes later and the frieswere cold. The place is adorable but worst service ever. stay away! Read more

We came for lunch on a Sunday and the service was pretty slow, although the restaurant was not busy. We found our own table... right away and waited about 15 minutes before someone came over. We ordered a BLT, hamburger, kids grilled cheese and kidschicken strips. All very basic diner food and nothing really special about any of the plates. For dessert we shared a mintchocolate chip ice cream with chocolate sauce and a vanilla malt. For 2 adults and 2 kids, the price was near $100. Wayover-priced for basic diner food in my opinion. We stayed the night in Port Townsend- it is a beautiful town, amazingly friendly people but the highlight of our first night was... the Soda Fountain! We happened across this gem accidentally while walking around town and we could not have picked a betterplace for dinner if we tried. The 50?s diner theme definitely passed the vibe check and was a hit with the kids. We had to ordermilkshakes for course- and it lol we just thought of and so delicious. (I want to go back for more just thinking about it). Then came the food. The fried shrimp was so good that even my 4 yr old nuggies and fries only kid cleared the plate. The halibutwas delicious and the stripped clams was on of the best my husband had in a long time! Then came dessert. We swore we were fullbut just had to try the fried ice cream. Well I would happily pay the price for over eating because the butter scotch was worthit! My husband had the sugar free ice cream wand he wished he could eat seconds! I left the best for last: our waiter Fabian! Hewas so efficient it was like magic. Like we just thought of fried ice cream and boom her was there! And he was so nice to ourfamily. His kindness to our (big) family will remain a highlight :) Incase it didn?t make it though : 10 stars definitelyrecommend. Read more

My party of 3 sat on the patio with my dog. The service was quick and friendly, and all the food was delicious. I also had a... raspberry shake which was amazing! I only got to peek inside since I had my dog, but it looked fun and had a good vibe. Outsidewas very relaxing after a long walk. I'll definitely be back when I'm visiting Port Townsend! Read more
