If I could give negative stars I would! Ordered a $90 dollar meal. Two items were Missing. Called, got hung up the first time.... Called again and was told not his or the restaurant’s problem and hung up. No refund or anything. This place is a fraud andwhoever owns/runs it is a cheat. BEWARE, save your money. Read more
I door dashed it, Terrible. This could be some of the worst Indian food I've ever ate. The garlic naan tasted like chemicals,... goat curry had a piece of plastic in it, and the keema samosa tasted like frozen food from Walmart. Don't waste your money here Read more
Yeah I wouldn’t eat in but as far as take out it’s very good Indian. These one star reviews don’t understand the limited... variety of authentic regional food and don’t appreciate what they have. Ohhhhh found a butter wrapper in my rice, wellappreciate its real f’ing butter and not some canola oil or corn syrup. Go to the mall if you want ubiquitous food indifferent colors with slightly different flavor. Read more
This is a nice place and some of the food is good but they have some problems there. One time my dad ordered from here and got... some rice with the sauce and the rice wasn't fully cooked. Another problem is their customer service. The man is nice, but hiswife is so rude it's unbelievable. The mans wife will not make your food correctly and won't care about how she makes it and howyou feel about it. One last problem they have is that the restaurant is so disgusting and dirty. It's at the point were i had towonder if they even clean this restaurant. I saw bugs flying around sometimes and dead bugs by the window seal or on the floor.There's other good restaurants to go to. Food was very good. First time i ever had Indian food. I will be going back. The restaurant is located in the Vassar college... community. The host name was Mr. Abbas. Very nice gentleman who made the food suggestions. He is the owner and operator. Read more
I came to Poughkeepsie for a couple of days from NYC. I asked a relative who is CIA graduate what place is good to eat around... here and he actually recommended this place as having very good authentic Indian food and not too pricey. I must agree that thefood was delicious would give a 4.5 Stars if I could. The place is a little run down and could use some better Decor and musicfor ambience as there was minimal to none. I ordered the mixed grill Meats and the lamb masala as well as the garlic naan. (Theywere out of goat so I couldn't get the goat masala.) The appetizer Meats were delicious but somewhat greasy as was the naan. Thelamb Masala had excellent flavor although the lamb was slightly overcooked for my taste but I know other people who like it thatway. The service was quick and courteous and the food came out very fast. I would definitely come back to this restaurant if Iever was in town again to try some of the other things as they have a fairly extensive menu.
