One of the employees wasn't wearing a mask half the time while behind the counter where the food was. The food lacked flavor.... The hot sauce wasn't even hot. The only thing I enjoyed was my soda. Definitely a disappointment and waste of money. We will notbe returning. Read more
I've been filling up my punch cards at TDM since they started them! Personally, I've almost always loved my Burrito when I get... it made for me, right there in front of me, just the way their server 1st recommended back in 95 or 96! I've only once gottenan actual taco del mar, and I really liked it, but the burrito is bigger and more filling. There is no other "Fast food" chain(of the 19 that spring to mind) that makes anything better, just different. Read more
The second time I ate there I remembered why I had never gone back. It is fairly obvious 90% of the food comes from a can or is... precooked and frozen. The food not horrible but its not good either. More of a "I'm hungry and I gotta eat" place then a "wowthis is delicious" place. The service was great but then the food was a total let down. Read more
Although smaller then most I've been to they still have an amazing crew. Even though we had no idea at first what we wanted, the... employee was very patient and even gave us a few personal favorites which helped set up what we got. In the past I never thoughttwice about this place as it never seemed busy. Knowing now that they have great staff who make sure you enjoy your experience Iwill make sure to return. It's taco Del Mar, what can you say? Owner is very kind. I do not appreciate the fact that prices have increased, while the... quality of the food has remained exactly the same. You know you're not getting processed ingredients, but it certainly isnothing special. I would say this is three stars, as would every taco Del Mar be if it met minimal expectations, but this onehas a very kind executive team. Read more
