Best Thai food I've had in the area so far. The service wasn't that great, but we were expecting that going in. The server was... friendly, but never checked on us. The food definately made up for it. Read more

Talay is by far our favorite restaurant! We come here a couple times a month and the food along with the service is always... great. I highly recommend trying it out if you haven't already. Update: We have been coming here for years now and it is stillour favorite. They recently added a new dessert and drink menu. Read more

Our first time at Talay. A very pleasant experience, we were greeted by a very friendly waiter, with a big smile. Very fast and... efficient service, food was delicious and moderately priced. We will definitely go back. : )) Read more

Great food and friendly staff. Decor a bit tired but this doesn?t matter as the food was good.

So I?ve tried every Thai restaurant in The Coachella Valley and THIS is the spot! The flavor of the trio sauce for the Pad Sam... Rod is unmatched. The panang curry and the pad Thai are amazing. For anyone who likes real flavor and a clean restaurant withkind staff this is for you. If you really like spicy then ask for a 4 and above, a 2-3 is also enjoyable but not too spicy. Read more

This is one of the best Thai places in Palm Springs, and I understand why. The wait staff is very friendly and the restaurant... has nice ambience. The food is delicious but not the very best I have ever tasted. For most people, Level 2 spice should be morethan enough. With clean restroom facilities also. Read more

This is a little hole in the wall style Thai place. We came here for a late lunch and the restaurant was basically empty. We... grabbed some soju cocktails - the Bangkok Lover and the Thai Arnold Palmer. They were pretty expensive and had pre mixedcocktail mix in them. I probably would have gone for an Asian beer instead because they had a good variety. My partner did notenjoy the Arnold Palmer and did not finish it. There weren?t many staff around so our server also made the drinks and theservice was pretty slow. For appetizers we started with the Thai dumplings which were pretty good. We then had the Pad Se-Ew andthe Talay special seafood dish. The Pad Se-Ew was authentic and delicious. The Talay special seafood dish however was quiteunderwhelming and was poorly presented (stew in tin-foil). It was packed with seafood however the sauce was not very tasty andit was $30. The portions were very large so an appetizer and two entrees was more than enough for the two of us. We did nothave room for dessert. Overall I would not recommend this place. Hole in the wall Thai food should be authentic, tasty andfairly cheap and this, for the most part, did not check those boxes. Read more

Authentic Thai cuisine with five star service. Aroydee! Elegantly presented dishes worthy of Michelin rating. Unexpected find... for the Desert. The Haw Mok Talay is a must try if you enjoy seafood. This specialty takes 25 minutes so order ahead. Appetizersare taste worthy also. Soju and Thai beer complements each dish. Finish with Mango Sticky Rice in special Butterfly Pea sauce. Read more
