Trully extraordinary desert! Finally found a bakery where everything is made correctly! True creams, true texture, true aroma... for everything we tried! Extraordinary cakes and drinks, amazing coffee! Caring and attentive staff. The only thing that wasNOT nice is that there were flies inside the store. I hope the management reads my review and will do preventive and corrective"fly management". This place is amazing. We got one of the lemon bars to share but every single thing in this bakery looked amazingly delicious... and beautiful! We will be back and go for one of the big chocolate cake pieces! Read more
This place is amazing. Top of line desserts and made with such attention in detail. We don't usually go to the same place twice... while visiting but this one captured us. I went to this and the other Extraordinary desserts store, the customer service and food is better in this one -based on my... personal experience. Staff were friendly and really nice. I did like their desserts, but was expecting something more flavorfulwith the passion fruit tart, I think all the fruits overwhelmed the passion fruit flavor. The white chocolate cheesecake was myfavorite since it had a balance between flavor and sweetness. The perfect last stop after a Downtown or Little Italy dinner. There’s always a line in the evening on weekends, but quite... honestly, I like standing in line because I need all the time I can get in order to make a decision :) The best way to trulyenjoy whatever dessert you choose is to accompany it with coffee and indulge as you sit at one of their outside tables. All looks, no substance. Just ordinary dessert flavor, extraordinary presentation. I loved how these desserts look - no doubt... that every single one is photo worthy. But the flavor just isn’t there, which is unfortunate because you can tell they work sohard to make each dessert look gorgeous. Presentation is important, but so is the quality of the recipe. I've been a customer of Extraordinary Desserts for about twenty years. I've yet to be disappointed with any of their desserts or... drinks. My last dessert was their Carrot Cake. Never have I ever tasted this level of dessert in a carrot cake, I ate it insmall bites and slowly savored every ingredient. My friend ordered the Bread Pudding which I have had prior, another home run.It's a portion and can easily be shared for two. I didn't give a fifth star because of the snooty young woman behind thecounter. My personal gripe, I was not allowed to use the restroom. If a business will allow you to step indoors and spend yourmoney I find it highly annoying that we as paying customers are not allowed to use their bathroom. Overall, this place is highlyrecommended for a first date, anniversary or out of town guest. So memorable. Read more
Wow if you like chocolate, the viking is the way to go. The bread pudding chocolate crossaint was also decent however i didnt... like some chewy parts on top in the beginning but the middle was amazing ???? So many options, you won't be disappointed. Oneof the best desserts I've ever had Read more
