Been to Filippis a few times and it's just okay. The pizza is very doughy and seems to be way too thick, not cooked enough. The... pasta dishes are mushy and the sauce tasted bitter and canned. Not sure how this place get all the good reviews, but maybe theyhave folks that like it.. I'm just not one of them. Read more
A good selection of classic Italian entrees, including many types of pizzas. Good selection of beer and wine. Ordered one of the... lunch specials. They included soup or salad and fresh bread. Very reasonable! Great stuff! Read more
Had dinner there in early June. It was busy but they opened the other half of the place. Service was super fast along with how... quick we got our order. The lasagna was awesome, lots of sauce, fresh and full of flavor. The portion was huge ! Ravioli waspretty good. Garlic bread was superb also. Looking forward to going back again. I am a HUGE Filippis fan. I've been to most of their locations and usually very happy. But this time the pizza was super thick... doughy and they changed the dinner salad (brocolli??) and worse, they changed their signature Italian dressing. Plus, the housechianti was vinegar. Not sure I will return to the PB location. Read more
The best part of this place is the service! Bo was the most amazing waitress I've encountered in a long time. She was so... attentive, right down to asking if the kiddos could have ice cream on the down low. All of that being said, the pizza left a bitto be desired. Honestly, I think a touch more salt in the dough would do a lot to make it more flavorful all around. Generousportions and good value, though. Read more
