I'm not from San Diego and was only there on business for a conference. At the beginning of the week, I had Hodad's downtown. It... was delicious. Absolutely incredible! The food, service, location, everything was great! The last night we're in town we go to aPadres game. We were hungry, saw the Hodad's sign, and we were excited. No. Definitely not. This is not the same quality at all,in my opinion. Would not try this location again in the future. They do a disservice to the brand. Read more

Embarrassing to the brand. Basically McDonald's. Thr buger was dry and didnt tast like 100% beef. Texture of the meat suggest... the use of filler. Basically terrible. The chicken sandwich place is much better. Read more

***Update on Sunday June 12, 2022 Went there because I?m ?Jones-ing? for a Cheeseburger. I was there at 11:55 am. I ordered the... ???? and it was ready 1 minute later. What I received was a cold ???? pre-cooked Cheeseburger. It also had this oversized pieceof onion ???? on it. This was the worst Cheeseburger I have ever tasted. This was possibly cooked the night before??? I know the?Boss Man? (R.I.P.) would never have allowed such a hot mess to be served. I?m sure everyone wishes someone like, of course, InN? Out Burger would come to Petco Park..never again, I promise not to order there again. I just love a good, tasty juicy and HotCheeseburger???? is that wrong? ?.PREVIOUS Review ?? If you are a burger connoisseur, pass on this one. Your bun will crumble inyour hands. The lettuce was so old, it was a flavor I've never had before. They packed a day old salad on my cheeseburger. Thefries were the best part of the combo. I will be back for the fries only. So many tourists fooled on this one, including GuyFieri. My compliments to the founder from Voltaire St. for pulling this off. I wish I would of taken a photograph, my bad.UPDATED: Recently went back for a second opportunity to get a burger. Very thin burger patty and the bun fell apart. I actuallyhad the burger cut in half which I recommend to limit the bun from falling apart so fast. It worked a little bit. If Petco addedan In n?Out Burger that would be a grand slam home run?????????? Read more

Had a Hodad?s cheeseburger delivered to our seat in Toyota Terrace. It was like a frozen burger you?d buy at the grocery store... and not really edible. After two bites I chucked it under the seat. Read more

Do not go to Hodad?s at the upper deck when they?re busy! I went there last night during the Padres/Cubs game, and they rushed... my cheeseburger and didn?t finish Cooking it. I only realized this when I had food poisoning all night ???? also the beer waslukewarm. Read more

What happened to Hodad's upper deck at Petco. At the expense of quality they're trying to speed up the wait time, by not... offering substitutions or so-called special orders, like hold the pickles, hold the onions. They don't even toast the bunsanymore. What do you want for $12.50? I suggested "Frings", half fries and half onion rings, but no comprendo. I guess it's timeto eat somewhere else. Bummer, because we really love Hodads, downtown. , Read more

This location at the park is inexcusably slow. Anticipate the crowds by visiting teams, prep/precook the orders and get that... line moving! I literally wasted an inning waiting for 1, single burger and some hard, overcooked fries. There were about 15others waiting as we patiently watched the game via monitors. The burger was mediocre, nothing to write a 5-star review about.Just another old fashioned style thin patty with super large cuts of onions and pickles . Read more
