TLDR: Rude, stingy staff that will not make right their mistakes in serving you food WITHOUT allergens. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!... They will mess up your order, put an allergen on your food after you specifically requested them not to, then fail to apologizeor acknowledge their mistake and deny me a refund. Back story: I?m not the type of person to leave negative reviews forbusinesses but I will when it?s warranted. And my experience here was so bad that they absolutely deserve it. I placed a phoneorder and asked if the dish that I ordered will contain sesame seeds, and told the worker Alexis that I have an ALLERGY tosesame seeds and to please not sprinkle any on top. She quickly assured me there are no sesame seeds on it. My husband wentinside to pick up the order as I waited in the car with our newborn baby. We get home, unpack the meal and guess what, there aresesame seeds ALL OVER the rice and mac salad I ordered when I specifically told her I had an allergy. I couldn?t even eat themeal that I paid for and drove 20 minutes to get. I called Homestyle and spoke with Alexis, told her she messed up and I wanteda refund. With no apology, she passed me off to another worker named Chloe who also didn?t bother to apologize and gave me thenumber of the owner Amy to handle it. So I call the owner Amy, very calmly explained what happened and asked for a refund. Shesaid ?maybe you should?ve checked the food before leaving?, as if I have the time to unpack tightly packed bags and styrofoamboxes with a crying newborn baby in the car. I said, I don?t appreciate being blamed for your restaurant?s mistake and I askedhow she plans to make this right. Like the other minions that work for her, she didn?t apologize either - but she begrudginglyagreed to give a refund on my plate. But guess what? Decent parking for a great lunch spot. Seating and service is good and the food is really good. The chicken teriyaki is a good... classic and so is the shrimp scampi. I?d love to come back for some beer and a game. Read more

Ordered chicken Katsu with macaroni, rice and salad. It is delicious. Also ordered fried fish tempura, macaroni, rice and salad.... Sooo much food, it was hard to close the box!!! You have to eat at least a small plate, before closing the take out box.Friendly staff. Read more

Let me tell how I've been turned down on this place - TWICE! I've actually never eaten here, my bf took me here because he said... that the food was good, and he wanted me to try it. ANYWAYS, HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED. We arrived at approximately 7:15pm, the placecloses at 8 (we're aware of that). 3 staffs at the bar, seems like they were cleaning. One yelled out, "Hello," but nobody cameto attend us. There were two tables with customers, but they looked like there were finished with their meals. We didn't getgreeted until 5 minutes later. We wanted to dine in, then the server said, exactly, "We can't do dine in anymore, WE RUN OUT OFPLATES, if you like you can do take out." I don't know what the heck that means? Newer management finally got the Dole whip machine working for a little while and now not working again. It's broken more than... not but I keep going back hoping that it's fixed and for the kolbi beef rib combo and Teri salmon combo. The fried stuff isn'tthat good in my opinion. Pork was some of the best I've ever had, soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. The rice and macaroni salad that comes with it are... also very good. My wife had the Lava Chicken, which was very good, and she also enjoyed the kalbi. Beer selection is great,with several lagers and IPA's available. Prices are not displayed on the physical menus, but are available if you scan the QRcode. The malasadas are why we came, and we were not disappointed. We received an entire plate full of malasadas, and theywere outstanding. There were 10 on our plate, about the size of lemons. Very light, just a bit crispy, and with a good amountof sugar, not over the top. Service was very fast, we received our meals in less than 10 minutes, but we also showed up veryearly on a Saturday evening, so your mileage may vary. From ordering over the phone to picking up, the service was really good, nice and friendly! Try the kalua wontons, they're... delicious!! The food was amazing, we had the Kalua pig and katsu chicken. Let me tell you definitely get your moneys worth withportions, had leftovers! The mac salad was creamy and delicious..
