The decor and aesthetic is really cool but I thought the tacos were just OK. Nothing special in terms of a really tasty tortilla... or fish/meat flavor. The best dish was the side of corn, which I would come back for, and the cilantro sauce you get at thesalsa bar. Read more

Lucha Libre is a wrestling themed taco shop that is loaded with character. It's got such a cool ambiance inside with old photos... and news articles, and even the booths are themed. There is probably 6 or so tables inside, so it can get crowded fast. Parkingis on the side. The staff here are super friendly and have great recommendations of what's the best at the time. Prices are alittle above average but the tacos are overstuffed (but who can complain about that?). Taste is on point, tons of flavors andoptions in each. Hit the salsa bar, they usually have a bunch of different kinds in there to grab at your own leisure. Wouldhighly recommend as it's a great spot coming right out of the airport. Read more

Great little place. Came here with kids and another family and there was a menu of choice for all in the party. Large selection... of drinks beyond traditional choices. Surf and turn tacos were delicious, the lucha salad was good too it was big mix of crunchyitems on a salad with beans. All the tacos and burritos had fries in it, while it was a good twist it also made especially theburritos a little dry to eat. It was all good though, it's a small place but it does have a little outdoor area. People came andwent, fast service, overall it was a great experience and definitely will return soon. Read more

Always love this place but it?s not the same. They don?t put as much meat in their burritos as they used to. The meat to... tortilla ratio is just off. They also got rid of the Tijuana hot dog. Seems like every item has a Cali version. Still, we alwayshave a good time. The beer selection is top notch for a taco shop this size. The decor always makes me want to bring friendsfrom out of town and everyone is always nice. The salsa bar is awesome. $72 with tip. Read more

We had one day in San Diego and I read the place to go. This filled the Mexican food-shaped hole in my heart since moving to... Washington. I ordered the blackened mahi seafood burrito (delicious with plenty of fish), and some friends shared a plate of avariety of tacos. They keep their salsa bar simple: a spicy red salsa, a salsa Verde (with a hint of cucumber), and a creamy, spicy salsa with cilantro that was to die for. My friend ordered the horchata which was a little on the sweet side (thinkCinnamon Toast Crunch milk). Otherwise everything was exceptional! Read more

This place has some of the best burritos and tacos you can eat in San Diego, their surf and turf is very good, however its $15... dollar price seems to be too high for a mid size burrito. Really good salsas and nice atmosphere. You get free bag of tortillachips with your food. The staff is very friendly and quick service. Read more

I've been told by a friend who works nearby that this place is now under new management. This could explain why the portions... seem to be lacking for the price. About $13-$14 for the mole burrito. Great mole, but I'll be hard pressed to come back here ifthe portions stay this way. Staff could also be nicer. My last few visits before this one were much better , portion-wise andcustomer service-wise. Read more
