Excellent. I ordered the beef plate, the chicken shawarma sandwich, hummus, baba ghanoush, and fries. Everything was delicious.... The place was very clean and the owner was gracious. Highly recommend. Read more

had a chicken shawarma sandwich. The bread was not fresh. the chicken shawarma is not cut from a skewer. it's more of seasoned (... hardly any seasoning) then cooked on the stove, then frozen and finally microwaved. the falafel was dry. there was a lot ofmicrowave activities seen in the background. I also had the kenafe. The kenafe was straight up and clearly old. it was at leasttwo days old. the crust was soggy . it was also microwaved. I've had many kenafes through out my life. the chef tried to give mean excuse about how the kenafe was different because appearantly the rest of the world eats a different kind of kenafe. Ifigured for the high price I was layi8for food and the reviews, I'd come across some authentic Arabic food. I was disappointed.the fries were obviously from a frozen bag. I'm not sure what is fresh. If you had some real Arabic food you'd know this is notauthentic Arabic food. It is probably cooked in a standard for the gringos. Read more

Fattoush is my new favorite thing, and I don't even like salad! This place has the tastiest Mediterranean food I've ever eaten!... Everything is sooooo delicious (especially the baba ganoush!! Omg!). They support and welcome travelers from all over the world- they have foreign currency pinned to the wall and a chalkboard with "welcome" written in approximately 20 differentlanguages. The service is fast and personable. They bring you the food and ask you how everything is. They laugh and smile andeveryone has a beautiful accent! They even gave us a sample of their Turkish coffee on the house. They were so sweet! I willcome back here every time I visit San Diego!! Can't recommend it enough. Read more

3.5 stars. My friends and I went here for lunch on a Sunday. A little difficult to find cz Google takes you along an alley. Just... drive along clairemont mesa Blvd and you'll see a small sign on the left. The owners were friendly and the whole place ishomely and sweet. Loved my kafta burger - patty was well cooked and flavorful. The bun was not too hard. The fries accompanyingwere also well made. My friends took the falafel platter. Although it is their signature falafel, I have had better. They aregood, but the hype put higher expectations. So overall, this is a good place, an extra 0.5 stars for the nice owners, but forfood I'd give 3.5 stars. Read more
