other than it being pretty hot inside, the food, the decorations, and the people were all amazing!! it's more filipino styled... than we thought it would be which was a pleasant surprise and everything we ate was delicious. we did stay a little afterclosing time which we were reminded by staff that they were ready to leave, so we grabbed all our stuff and rushed out. in thecorner they do have table top games like jenga and chess i think which were a cool feature. Well what can I say except the food has not changed it is awesome... the jicama pork belly tacos are out of this world, thinly... slices jicama tacos shells bends around the nicely cooked pork belly... the pork belly bowl is a complete meal with an abundanceof rice and amazing pork belly. Read more
I never expected that the food bowls that I ordered are way beyond delicious! It really got that distinct flavor that you?ll... truly love and even wanting for more. A hidden gem in Bario Logan. I was told this was where the gangs used to be long ago. Love what they did to this area and I... equally enjoyed the food and ambiance. Tried a few dishes: Adobo Bowl Pork Belly Jicama Taco Shanghai Lumpia The adobo bowlwas ok but I loved the Jicama Tacos the best. The Shanghai was regular like other filipino spots. *** Very Impressed *** Modern Asian food restaurant. The food is a good mix of Filipino and Japanese. Food - Very fresh and... tasteful! First time seeing the food actually match the pictures! Potions were good. I would have liked the burger to come withfries. Although the burger was $11, it was still very filling. They were Location - great location. The area is slowly growingand has a new facelift in the community. The actual restaurant is nice plenty of room. I wasn't a big fan of the chairs, theyweigh a ton! Only one bathroom decent. Overall - I would have gave them 5 star if they had a better drink selection (bottlewater, can drinks and tea). This place is a for sure must visit and eat! Im surprised it wasn't busy at all. I haven't found a Loco moco that's better than this in San Diego. Always perfect egg, tons of gravy, great patty. ????
