I just unsubscribed from Rubio's emails. I'm not in the habit of eating slop - At least thats what their tacos tasted like on... Tuesday. The decline of an icon: I remember the first Rubio's at Mission Bay around 1983 ... the new concept of fish tacos. They were so good, great portion sizes. Now -- you can barely see the fish it's so small. It's unfortunate that companies losequality over quanity - because they know no matter slop they serve people will still come. #sad Read more

I love the Salsa Verde Shrimp Tacos. I like to switch them to flour tortillas. They are fresh and delicious.

Tacos were really nice. Gourmet Shrimp was A+. Fish & Mahi tacos were tasty too. Highly recommended.

I love how plant based meat is adopted by big chains. Rubio's not only used Impossible meat, but made a tasty dish out of it.... Impossible Taco Salad has good amount of protein and veggies while maintaining minimal amount of carbs. I would say this dish isnot only vegetarian but it is pretty Keto friendly too. I really like this location. They are always friendly and well staffed. I can't say that about all locations but this one is... good. There are lots of other choices around too but really no need. We always find something we like here. Just edited this to3 stars from 5 for the speed or lack thereof. It's consistently been slower over the past couple months. Still friendly staffand good food etc. Just super slow now. Read more
