We hosted a casual dinner for about 25 friends and family members at Sammy?s Del Mar. Justin and Javier were very helpful in... planning the seating arrangements and the menu?s. They were very accommodating to our large group. Heather, our server, wasextremely attentive and provided us with great service. The food was delicious, as always! Quality: I give a good rating. Reminds me of California pizza kitchen for some reason. May be because of non traditional pizza... toppings. The Asian bbq salad is delicious. The kids meal are okay. I tried the kids meal myself. The portions are adequate forkids. The original score is 4 out of 5. This is the first visit for me. So I can?t comment on reliability. However, I probablywouldn?t come back if I were to visit SD again, because I?m not pizza crazy. Read more
Best pizza spot in San Diego. The best ones to order are the Margherita and goat cheese pizzas. If you show up during happy hour... they will have some pizzas and plates for half off. Read more

We arrived and waited for about 5 minutes to be seated. (restaurant was empty) We then waited for about 10 minutes for the... waitress to bring utensils and ask to take our main order, not even drinks? Food was great, but the service was shocking. Notsure we will be going back there in a hurry, there are much better places to go, that offer better service and good food. Read more
