DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT ANYMORE, COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!! I came here today to get two california burritos but asked for... pollo asado instead of carne asada. They have me red sauce shredded chicken instead that tasted absolutely horrible with thecheese and sour cream. I went back to see if I could get the correct protein as I had got before or change it for something elseand they would not give me anything else or my money back. I wasted $30 for two burritos I threw away, because they would nottake care of me, I have been going to this place for years and I have never had to come back for something they mistakenly didor gave me. OK seriously these burritos are ridiculously huge. Usually I’m not one of those people who are like oh it’s bigger so it’s... better that’s usually not true. But in this case the burritos are amazing AND huge. They have my absolute favorite hot saucewhich is the chopped chilis. But the jalapeño and the habanero sauce is also too die for. Probably the most disgusting burrito I have ever eaten. Was HUGE like to big to hold and eat comfortably. EXTREMELY greasy the... whole tortilla was soaked through with grease. Sayulitas is my favorite burrito spot in SD, hands down. First off, they're HUGE. I think I can eat breakfast, lunch, and... dinner from a single burrito ???? Second off, they're so creative! They have so many different flavor combinations, not justyour regular burrito. I love that they put some Filipino style food in some of them too ???? My go-to is the Pac Man, it's SOdelicious. An explosion of carbs and goodness. The fries and carne asada in combination with the filipino tocino is justperfection. It gives it a tinge of sweetness reminiscent of Char Siu (Chinese BBQ pork). These burritos are definitely not forthose unadventurous with their food, but if you like trying new things and combinations of flavors, this is the place foryou! The price is good for the size!
