We are vegetarian and every time they don't listen to our order and have meat in it. Also saw the same lady taking out the trash... and without washing her hand, prepped and served our food. It is nasty. Not only THAT, the attitude is horrible on the drivethru, she seem like she doesn't care about you, never repeat the order (probably why it's always wrong) and if asking anythingit's a simple "yes" or "no" answer. Rarely get a "thank you" back for anything you say. No matter how many times we are hereit's consistently bad. It is very close to our house so we used to come here but it is so bad we are actually committing to notcome here even though it's the most convenient for us. Read more
I am a San Diego Native and this is one of the go to spots for me for Mexican Food. The portions are massive, taste is really... good, I?m a big sauce guy and they don?t skimp out on it. I've lived in Mira Mesa for 13 years. I've been coming to Vallarta for years. Just recently I've had some problems with the... food. I called in an order and the wrong order was given to me and the food was inedible. Yesterday, I went to the drive thruand was told to wait 15 minutes to clean grill. However, another customer orders food with no problem. I'm not sure why I amtreated differently, but it happened. Upon receiving my food it was made really fast. It seemed microwaved. The food of mySteak & Egg burrito and beef rolled tacos were dry and hard. I've decided that they don't want my business anymore for personalreasons. Oh well, there are plenty places to eat. Can?t speak for authenticity and after reading other reviews I was ready for the not so polite staff, so my review is on the... food. My husband got the steak plate and I got the surf and turf burrito as well as the menudo to share with my 2.5 yr old.Everything was really delicious and although the menudo was a 2 on the spicy scale, I was still worried my toddler wouldn?t wantit but he actually liked it! In the middle of eating the burrito insides and some tripe, he randomly mentioned that all his foodwas delicious. I seriously can never guess with the child, but I agree, the food was very tasty. The portions were generous andfilling. My husband looked excited that there was actually a lot of steak in his meal. As for the bathroom situation, it needscoins which are provided at the counter upon request. Inconvenient, especially if you left something behind, but prevents justanyone coming in and using it and it was clean. Read more
