Always a treat coming to Yanni's! I've mostly been here with large groups celebrating something or other and the staff handles... it really well. The owners are super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I've only had a few different dishes, but the foodis always great, especially with the free bread and oil. The new(ish) outdoor seating area is perfect for a sunny San Diego day.If you're on the fence, stop in and have a cocktail while you enjoy the weather and atmosphere! Read more

Absolutely stellar from beginning to end! Our server was quick on his feet with suggestions (and everything he suggested ended... up being perfect). DEFINITELY get the trio as an appetizer, and a lamb skewer (or two!). The support staff were fantastic andquick, especially during the dinner rush, and the owner Yanni made his way around the dining room as well. Legit some of thebest Mediterranean food in SD. The Jasmine trellises and fairy lights really set the mood for nighttime dining. You'd neverbelieve you were so close to the highway! 10/10!! Read more
Great foods & services as always. This is a Greek/Italian dining spot. It's one of the top hidden spots in San Diego.
I was recommend this for as a beautiful spot with amazing food and service...it did not disappoint. We started with... drinks...they were amazing, pricey but we knew coming in that we were gonna be paying. Also we did a saganaki appetizer andwhile it didn't look like much it was damn delicious. I will say they hit my pet peeve when they didn't bring out enough breadwith it but they brought more out. That minor issue is a me thing and didn't take away from the experience. We got pasta and aburger. Both tasty but realistically if you're gonna go out for a burger just grab one somewhere else as you will pay a smallpremium here. Dessert was tiramisu and was just the icing on the cake. Overall, if I could afford to eat here every night ofthe week i would. If you're worried about over paying, trust me you're not! Read more
My friend and I sat in the patio, it was quite breezy and a little chilly at first. The waiter was helpful and set up a heater... which definitely made it a more pleasant dining experience. The food was good portions, fresh and tasty. Salad dressings tastedhomemade. Service was very attentive.I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes. Read more
