I have been to corner bakery many times. Not this specific location, this was my first time at this location. I went to the... corner bakery in Santa Ana, CA on 9/23/2022 at around 12:30pm. I ordered the chicken carbonara entree. After a few bites mystomach started to hurt so I was not able to finish my food. I only had about 1/3 done and asked for a to go box. I go home andlater in the day I decide to finish my food, in my second bite, I bit into something hard and spit it out and I noticed thisround small metal magnet looking thing. This is very disgusting. I heated up my food with this thing inside??? I microwaved thiswith the food??This is very unsanitary and very disgusting because I have no idea what this is and where it came from! And thefact that it was in my food?!?!?! Read more
I went to this corner bakery on thu in the afternoon around 2:00 so lunch rush was over. I kid you not, not one single table... both inside or outside had been bused. There was food all over the floor and literally not a clean table anywhere. The icedtea I ordered was horrible. It tasked contaminated. I sat with my tea and watched the 4 employees behind the counter, giggleand laugh, but not one of them bused a table. Then the ultimate happened as I watched 1 of the employees, clearly her shift wasdone, walk right past the dirty tables to leave for the day. I will never, ever go back there again. Horrific ! I ordered my dinner on Postmates. It was delivered timely by a nice gentleman. The bread that generally comes with the pasta... dish was missing. When I called the restaurant to inquire, I was not so politely told that the bread was complimentary so Ididn't pay for it anyway and there was nothing they can do about it. The bread wasn't that huge of an issue, but I was verynice in my inquiry. The attitude I received was beyond rude and very unnecessary. Read more
Good food with decent portions. The salads are large and flavorful. Clean store with friendly staff. Lots of outdoor seating.
I come here almost 4 times a week, tables in the outside area are always dirty. Staff doesn't really help much (don't know if... they short personal). Update 12/28/2021 I came back tonight, and for my surprise little ratatouille was getting some ingredientsfor cooking. I hope after this picture they actually do something. Placed a take out order for a panini and cup of soup. When I got home I found the cup of soup inside the to go box and wedged... into the sandwich. Not very attractive and I have no idea how clean the underside of the soup container was before gettingintroduced to the panini. The potato soup was great and the sandwich was only so-so. Read more
