We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Plaza Tapatio! Chips and salsa were very good, and they included a crema-style dip which was... yummy! We had tacos al pastor and enchiladas Tapatio. The meat in all 3 dishes was tender and flavorful! The tacos came withsalsa fresca a roasted red pepper sauce, which was HOT but flavorful. The enchiladas were served with rice and beans, which mademy husband say "why can't I make beans like this at home!?" Service was great, and prices reasonable. Place an order for a lunch special of chile rellenos. When I got to the restaurant the waitress argued with me and said that... they had no chili rellenos lunch special and that I had to buy the dinners. I had to show her the menu with the lunch specialand she took the meals back and corrected it. But we got cold lunches. Will never go back there again. First of all I am from Mexico!! I had ordered a Carne Asada plate so Rice, beans, lettuce and guacamole was good but the main... thing which is carne asada, NOT. No salt or flavor and meat was not tender. Carne Asada is also thin but this one was thick andhard. What BOTHERED me the MOST was that we had asked for another salsa for the chips since we were a party of 5 and its hard toreach to only one salsa, so they said they didn?t have any and that they were making some more then people start coming in andthey do have salsa for them! We were not crazy about the food. My daughter tried something new. She didn't like it. I got steak fajitas and felt it was... overcooked. My refried beans were hardly warm. Not the best at all by a long run. Classic margarita was meh????????. My taco salad with beef was looking great. Then I tasted... the beef.
