Highlights: One of my top restaurants in all of the DMV! Don't believe their old reviews. Food is a 10/10. Service is a 10/10... (maybe an 11/10). Drinks are a 9/10. Price is an 9/10. This was now my fourth time at this restuarant. My gf and I absolutelylove this place and had to take advantage of the short trip from Bethesda on a Sunday evening. We started off with our usualdrinks. She ordered the sharabi lassi (a mango lassi drink) and I got the tamarind drink (which I think was called the imlimasala) because I absolutely love tamarind as a Mexican. It was a great start to our meal which was followed by a round ofsamosas for appetizers. Again, the tamarind sauce was super tasteful. My only minor critique is that I like my tamarind sauce alittle spicy but it was still amazing. We then decided to steer away from our usual entrees today and tried something new.Spoiler: there are no regrets. I traded my go-to chicken tikka masala for the chicken shahi korma-- just absolutely delicious. It has a similar texture and presentation as the tikka masala, but a distinct taste which comes from an almond sauce--delicious. My partner tends to like veggie meals and she chose the paneer lababdar. I had a bite myself because it smelledgreat, but it ended up tasting even better. Our only sad ending is that we were too full today to get dessert as we usually do.Will definitely have to come back for more. Give them a try! If you like authentic Indian, I guarantee you will love thisplace. Read more

Food and service was good. We had samosa, naan, kadai paneer and Thali. We really liked the gulab jamun that came with the... Thali. I had higher expectations for the food for the price but it was satisfactory. Read more

Great place, awesome food, nice staff and timing to serve all items like wine, starters, main course etc. everything was in... perfect presentation as well as its sequence. Visited with family during summer. The restaurant had a good number of people dining in. The service was reasonably quick and... food tastes good. Reason I gave them 3 stars is because of their gratuity + tip policy. I wish I had taken a picture of thebill but essentially they included a 18% gratuity which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant (we were aparty of 4). And, the bill included a request to tip the server for their service on top of the gratuity. It seems they arecounting on people not reviewing the bill and tipping. We would have tipped higher but their practice didn't seem right and iscertainly not the standard as their representative argued. The customer should have the choice to tip however much they'd like, any mandatory gratuity should be mentioned upfront, and they shouldn't guilt the customer for tipping on top of the gratuity. Ihope the management takes this into consideration. Read more

Five star service all around, didn't expect such high quality for a small restaurant out here in Silver Spring. Wonderful! I... didn't have to ask or request anything, they come up and serve you, refill your water, come see how your doing, and payattention, staff do not goof off or play around here. It is easily comparable to any top restaurant in the big cities! Theprices are average at about $20 a person. But overall, I recommend coming here if your in the area or just staying at the hotelnearby. Chicken Tikka Masala: This dish had sime wonderful spice, I mean it tasted like how I wanted it too, like tikkachicken? Shrimp Vindaloo: I am assuming I remeber what its called, but its the spicy shrimp dish. It was perfectly spicy, niceand hot as I like it. Tandoori Chicken: Nice and soft chicken, good amount of tandoori flavor~ Garlic Naan: Its naan and itsgarlic flavor. It tastes great! Tough to express Indian food, but just come eat and you won't be disappointed. Read more

Nice lunch. I typically eat Indian at some of the well known places in DC but it?s nice to have options in Silver Spring near... work. The homemade naan was a great kick off and I really enjoyed the zesty tamarind as well as the cilantro dipping sauces. Itwas buttery & right out of the oven! They once had a nice buffet but COVID eliminated that. They have a wide range of tandoorioptions as well as curry?s plates. The Biriyani is well seasoned and a little spicier for you spice lovers. I wanted a milderplate so I ordered the Chicken Makhani(creamy tomato sauce). It was great over the basmati rice though I wish I had a biggerportion of rice. My small complaint was the unbalanced table but they were quick to move me to a more stable table. The ownerwas gracious and very engaged through out. Always a nice touch when you visit the smaller restaurants? Read more
