I had no idea restaurants were charging extra for bread that?s supposed to come with hummus until I visited this place. Almost... $18 for hummus with bread and a cup of Lentil soup. I said ?No thanks? and ate food a couple doors down. Read more
We went for lunch. The garlic with the appetizer bread was excellent. Ordered shwarma wraps. Meat was very tasty and was in... every bite. Will definitely go back again. Read more

UPDATE - The manager contacted me, and bent over backwards to make things right. We did try their food again, and it was MUCH... better. GREAT responsiveness is a mark of a good restaurant, and they will be addressing their training issues. No one isperfect, but they sure tried to make it so. The tabbouleh looked like it was many days old, and tasted the same.Never EVER have I been given tabbouleh anywhere that didn't seem really fresh. This looked like cooked spinach. Rice was blah(just regular white rice, with some almonds?), far too many raw onions were all over the dish (carry out), lamb chili had an oddvinegar taste, and the garlic sauce was MUCH more bitter than I've had at many other Mediterranean places. On the other hand,the employees were friendly, the lamb was tasty, and the vegetables they grilled were very nice. But I don't think we'll goback. Read more
Have eaten here twice now and food was not good. Hummus is bland- bread seemed old. My tawook sandwich felt like a day old. Very... disappointing rice too. I work in Dearborn and know what good Arabic food tastes like! This was not that. We threw most of thefood out and will not return. The location in Brighton is 100% better than this location. The locations in Brighton and Farmington Hills are much better. I feel like the food quality is much better. I picked up a meal... a few days ago and the cucumbers were slimy and mushy on the salad which then made the rest of the salad garbage. Chicken waschewy. 2nd time I've tried this location, don't think I will be back. Read more
I currently live in South Lyon, and I've been a loyal La Marsa customer at various locations starting in Dearborn for over 12... years! l'm known on a first name basis by the staff at the Brighton location... I've never had a serious issue with customerservice or food quality until Sunday 11/27, at approximately 8:30 p.m. at the South Lyon location. My order of whole debonedchicken was not hot from the start. I felt the bottom of the pan as a got into the car (it was not warm)! By the time, I gothome from the restaurant (3 miles away) the food was barely warm. I had to heat the chicken and rice in the microwave!!! This isunacceptable under any circumstance.
