I really wanted to like this place but for 2 the price was eh for the food given. The burgers are small and places wanting to... charge for additional items like a tomato isn't a real go getter for me. But I would definitely recommend trying it outyourself, what I like isn't the same as you. And sadly the best milkshakes come from monster burger to me :( Read more
My wife and I had previously been to the Port Angeles location. I was in the Tacoma area for a test, and found the location via... Google maps. The double cheeseburger was fresh and well made. Drive up only, but a nice stopover. Read more
First time visiting Frugals and wow, I can see why at 1000 on a Saturday night they had a line into traffic. I got the bacon... cheeseburger, fries and opted for a strawberry shake. Well worth every penny. The fries tasted like 90's style McDonald'sfries, only fresher. The burger was perfect and the bacon was just the perfect little extra. The strawberry shake wasgreat. As others mentioned in their reviews, the place can be a little sketchy at night, but it's no worse than most otherplaces I've seen since moving here. I've been coming here for YEARS even back when they were $0.99 in the 90s! Get your self over to this place! This place is... still my favorite! If its your first time.... I'd recommend just getting the "frugal burger" as it comes with no adds so you cansee for yourself how exceptional these burgers are....Absolutely fantastic! We both got the bacon cheeseburger combos and we forgot to say no pickles, and lettuce. Don't like when the lettuce gets wilted... and soggy. He told me to try the cheese curds and got 2 orders of it. Those were so dang good! Especially fresh when you firstget them. So get one for the drive. The location next to a pot shop and corner store makes this place crawl with tweakers and sketchy individuals. I waited in line... for 15 minutes so I had lots of time to hide behind my locked doors and people watch. This place should have faster drive thruservice but hey, maybe it was just Sunday night it was slower. The fries are frozen, and I'm not sure about the otheringredients.. just what I observed from the pay window. I had high hopes when I pulled in, and by the time I got my food, mystandards were lower. Legs get this straight, I'm by no means upset with this place. The food was actually super tasty. I got acheeseburger, hamburger and fries. All of them with an original, fresh flavor. This place has a special one of a kind taste andit's a must try for the price. I paid $10.86... that's cheap.. for the value and what you get, 8/10. This isn't a 10 onlybecause the food could've been hotter, the service speed and customer service could've been better. The benefits to this placeare the value and overall good quality and taste. One of the first places my family and I grabbed burgers from after our move from Texas back in 2007. Still love them today!... Today I decided to try the bacon bleu and I wasn't disappointed. WELL......I recently tried this place and INITIALLY was very happy. Not sure what has happened lately, but the last 3 visits, I... have not been pleased! Burgers were missing ingredients(which I paid extra), burgers were made so sloppy, no fry sauce(I paidfor), etc etc. But today's visit was the worst.....ingredients wrong on burger(I paid extra for), no fry sauces(paid extra for)and did not give me correct change back. And gave me a skinny straw(for soda) to use for milkshake. I'm hoping service & qualityimproves as I once enjoyed this place with my family. Read more
