A Japanese restaurant in downtown Tacoma. We stoped here for a quick snack in the afternoon. We are bit hungry but didn’t want... to eat too much as we had a restaurant reservation at 5:30. This place was perfect for a snacking. Their happy hour starts from2:00 to 6:00. There are a lot to choose from the happy hour menu. I had spicy tuna roll and it was spicy. (I’m used to not sospicy spicy-rolls) it was good, we also ordered chicken karaage, tempura roll and sushi set. They were all good. Their pour ofwine is very generous. It is located right next to Marriott so it was convenient to walk to. If I ever come back to Tacoma andlooking for a Japanese restaurant, I would definitely visit this restaurant. Read more
This was by far one of the best places and experiences we have had in Tacoma. From the atmosphere, staff and food- all perfect.... The lychee kisses wasn’t for me but that’s a personal preference. Everything else was delicious. Thank you!! I highlyrecommend this place. Read more
Best sushi ever! I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic all of the dishes we ordered were. The "tiger eyes" appetizer is a... must try, the salmon just melts in your mouth. The bluefin tuna was so tasty and the lobster/crab roll on fire was to die for.The fish for each roll had so much flavor and had distinctly unique flavors. If you want sushi in the Tacoma area, this is the only place to go. It may not be the best I’ve had, but it’s the only place... worth going to in Pierce County. The food is definitely presented in a great way. Awesome enticement and location in downtown.Won’t be disappointed, I hope.. Read more
My wife and I had a wonderful experience dining in at THEKOI this past Saturday. Portions were easily shared between the both of... us. Our Waiter was funny and attentive. The food was A+, from our appetizers to the Nigiri were outstanding. Can't wait to comeback and bring our kids for a family outing. 10/10 will be back soon! Read more

1st time here great service and beautiful restaurant. THE kalbi tacos were delicious meat was juicy tender great flavor with the... creamy avocado on top it was a great fusion of flavors. The sushi is fresh and they have a lot of different cocktails. A goodplace for a date. Read more
Food and drinks were AMAZING. I will never go to another sushi restaurant again - this is the forever spot! Service was great... and food came out quick even though the place was packed.
