Let me start by saying, I LOVE Pete's Place. I have been here a ton over times over the last year and a half since I discovered... it. I have recommended many people who even booked parties. However, when I visited last month, I had the worst experience withthe hostess/greeter at the door. The restaurant was packed and I could tell that waitresses were working really hard so I waswilling to wait to be served, but wanted an idea of how long I would be waiting. The hostess was upset with me after she wasn'tclear about the wait time, so I asked to see a manager. The hostess continued to argue with me in front of her manager and my 2small children. While I debated writing this review because the manager was helpful, and I will continue to visit this place Ihave come to love and never had a bad experience at until last month, I decided it was important because this type of behaviorfrom the first face to meet customers, is unacceptable and should not be the norm. I am not an argumentative person and I trymy best to be reasonable, but the hostess was so distasteful that I wanted to share a few choice words (I refrained). I do notknow her name but I do know she was somewhat tall, slender, and had deep red/burgundy hair. Pete's Place, you have a customerin me, but please be mindful that this type of behavior is unacceptable and could cause you to lose valued customers in thefuture, if it persists. Read more
I?ve been coming here for years and really enjoyed their food and service lovely people!! Recommended them to friends and family... every chance I?ve gotten but today I was very disappointed with my food????????!!! My hash browns which my other items lay onare burnt like nasty burnt which makes everything else nasty ughhh. I drove from Inkster just to get this cause I?ve beencraving it now I wish I didn?t. I would have loved to give them four to five stars because that?s what they have been but nottoday very unhappy!!! Read more
First time coming to Pete?s, it was a really good experience, staff was friendly, food was really good. Menu is HUGE. But I... didnt like the fact the burger didnt come with a side and i had to buy the fries. Thats what took a star away but overall a goodexperience and will come again Read more
The service was decent as well as the food although I had noticed that the menu had too many food choices, it?s good to have a... lot of options but knowing the menu was so expansive it decreased the quality of dishes that Pete?s place served. While mysuggestion could be taken with a grain of salt I do believe and highly suggest that the amount of items on the menu bedecreased. Not only will it reduce the overall cost of inventory and supply but it will also allow the chefs to better perfectthe quality of dishes they serve without having to make different dishes on completely different ends of the spectrum. I alsojust have to say the music was horrendous, it was a mixture of 2012 pop and 2021 pop, the music was also so loud it absolutelymade my ears bleed. Great menu! Very diverse items, local customized drinks and relaxing atmosphere inside and outside. Nice patio. Good parking.... Friendly staff. Dark wood stools and tables and laid-back atmosphere. Onion rings were amazing. Huge burgers, thick and juicy.Detroit designed drinks. A blend of family and adults all ages eating here. Read more
