I got the ribeye and it was absolutely delightful. The cut is just right and the medium rare was perfect. The service is top... notch, the restaurant is clean with a delightful relaxed atmosphere and lovely non-intrusive music. Highly recommended! Read more

Unbelievably great food and wonderful people! I was a little hesitant at first, the outside does not match the inside. But man... alive, I was pleasantly surprised! We're only in town this weekend and leaving tomorrow, but next time we visit we aredefinitely coming back here! ???? Read more

This place used to be so good, about 10 years ago. Went there tonight and noticed the menu had changed quite a bit, my prime rib... sandwich was basically a French dip, there was absolutely no pink in the meat like you'd get with a cut of prime rib, and it wassuper tough. My brothers seafood fettuccine had spaghetti noodles instead of fettuccine noodles. We waited over an hour for ourfood. For the price we paid, I feel like the experience and food should have been of significantly better quality. To be fair,we did have ten people in our party. Read more

I haven't been to a steakhouse this good in years! ???????????????????? I had the prime rib that was cooked to perfection and... our mushroom appetizer was mouthwatering. ???? Anyone going through The Dalles should absolutely stop to enjoy an amazingexperience. ???????? The price was kinda high but the servers, cuisine and the atmosphere makes it 100% worth the price. ????Thank you to all that waited on us, we have become regulars every time we come through. God bless ?? Read more

I took my parents dinner for their 65th anniversary. Take out is a different experience than dining in. Dad loved the Rib eye... and it was a nice size. Mom loved her halibut but the portion was small for the price. My fish and chips were soggy. My realshock was the expectation of the 20% tip for handing me 2 bags plus a fee for it being take out. They don't do curbside pick upas advertised. A tip as after the meal is over and they provide a great service. Taxes and fees are when you purchase an item.No other place in town requires a tip for takeout and, it is at your discretion. If you want a good rib eye, they have it buteat in and make sure you get the service you will be paying for! I probably will not return. There are lots of other greatplaces to eat with free choice for something that has always been considered optional and needs to be earned! Read more

The food was good, especially the Rib eye. The fish and chips were soggy and the halibut portion seemed small for the price. I... understand the charge for making it to go, I guess. But charging for a 20% tip for handing me the bags felt like robbery. Noother takeout in town does this that I have found. A tip is after a Mel for the service provides. We didn't make a mess toclean up.or get Read more

I asked for my food to be dairy free and both courses came with cheese on top which wasn't even listed on the menu. I have a... pretty intense dairy allergy and the waitress and I went over it thoroughly and chose food accordingly. I gave my salad to mymother, but was forced to send my entree back. By the time I got my food the rest of the table was finished and in the middle oftheir dessert. I asked to have my food brought to me in a to go box. I ate three pieces of vegetables and two tiny bites ofsalmon, and something (I think it was the vegetables) was cooked in butter. After 15 minutes I could hardly stand my stomachhurt so much. On top of that, the salmon was dry and over cooked. They also, don't make several items in house. I asked about acouple different appetizers and they couldn't tell me what was in them, because "they came pre-made and frozen and they nolonger have the boxes". One, you have to know what is in the food you are serving. Two, at the prices they are charging, everything should be fresh and made in house. But the first infraction really is ridiculous and inexcusable. The waitstaffshould know, but the cook MUST know what they are serving their customers. Read more

The ambiance was nice and the food was good, servers very friendly. We did wait what seemed like an exceptionally long time for... our dinners, steak & grilled salmon. I had 3 huckleberry lemon drops, which were good. We got some soft, fresh bread with garlicbutter while we waited for our meals. Our meals came with salads, which had a few strawberries in them - I'm glad my husbanddiscovered those before I added my ranch dressing lol. Our dinners came with our choice of potato and some mixed veggies -squash, broccolini, onions - all of it good. They were out of their complimentary post-dinner peppermint ice cream, so we hadchocolate instead. It was a nice place for our anniversary dinner. Read more
