I purchased an ice cream cake from this store on June 4, 2022. When I served it to my guests, I thought it tasted stale. There... was writing on the underneath side of the cardboard the cake was on designating the date it was made and what kind of cake itwas. There was a number written on the bottom of the cardboard that was 2/28 but the number 2 had been written over with anumber 5 to make it look like it was freshly made. I called the customer service line to place a complaint on June 6. When Idid not receive a response, I called again. This time I was asked to send an email with more information. I sent it on June29. I still did not receive any response to either phone calls or my email, so I called once again in July. The customerservice rep who answered my call acknowledged my complaint had been filed, and said that he would check on it. That was almostone month ago, and still no response. Not only was the ice cream cake poor quality, but the customer service complaint line isuseless. I will not go back to that store again, and may not do business with any Carvel store again because they don't seem tocare about how their customers feel about their products and service. Read more
I enjoy coming here for ice cream, they have not let me down yet. Decent sized parking lot and picnic tables for outdoor eating.
Went with my grand-kids last week. A+ all the way around. Great Ice Cream! Great service! Decent pricing. I think it'd be... better if they would be open an hour later. Read more
When I went in I was greeted by a very nice young lady. She was so helpful and nice. Got my Ice cream and was sitting there... eating it in my truck and was able to watch a lady decorate cakes with no gloves on. She dropped one on the floor. Yes shecleaned it up and then picked up the dirty mat and moved it and then went back to putting the cakes in the case. Then she wentback decorating cakes and NO SHE NEVER WASHED HER HANDS after all that clean up on the floor. She wiped her hands on her shirtand pants that the dirty mat touched her. Yes she was handling sprinkles with her bare dirty hand with NO GLOVES. Yes shehandled the cakes and everything that went on the cakes with her dirty nasty hands. Dasher done wrong. No bottom layer of goodies. Server forgot the hot fudge sauce in the middle layer. I had to ask him to put it... on the top and he said that he forgot it. There were 3 employees working, but only two were working hard. One woman walkedthrough the chaos (line out the door) and just kept walking around to the other side. Memorial Day, and very under staffed.Personally, I think our server ?forgot? the hot fudge because the other server was working in front of it. The ice cream isalways very good. I bought my moms ice cream cake there. They were very pleasant and quick. My grandson chose it so we got the dog cake
Amazing. Very clean and the staff are very pleasant. I really think it's worth the walk on a nice fall/spring day. The price... seems a bit much but I figure that's due to the quality. I remember going to Carvel as a kid in Naugatuck on rt 63. Now it's aclosed down American pie pizza place. I'm not sure how many Carvel's are left. Never looked into it.
