The food was very good. The bun on the Philly, however, fell apart when trying to pick it up. But the tastes were great and the... Mac and Cheese lived up to its reputation. The one negative was when another server started spraying sanitizer on the glassdividers near our booth while we were eating. The smell of the sanitizer in the air greatly damaged the smell and taste of thefood. However, once asked, she immediately stopped, so at least it didn't get any worse after that point. The loaded cheese fries are seriously die for! I have been to this location of The Brook multiple times and have never had... anything less than great service. Even on trips where errors to my order (or people I was with) were made, they were politelycorrected to our satisfaction. Read more
Tonight Challengers of Oklahoma came in ate various of food, great Service, & food. Very busy for Tuesday night, parking is... very tough too. But we enjoy the atmosphere and nice views too. 1st time in The Brook at Brookside on Peoria. Read more
Food was pretty good. Staff was really friendly. We highly enjoyed the Queso chili tater tots! Two of us spilt that appetizer.... We should have split a meal after that. We took half of out plates home. Our main meals were good, not great. I ordered theFrench dip and my husband had the buffalo chicken tenders. We both had macaroni and cheese as our side. You get really largeportions for a good price. We will be back! My parents have also enjoyed the cheese fries from here. It is are huge plate withcheese on many levels so all the fries are covered! The last few times we have gone, service has always been great and we feel welcome. Just food has not been great the two times,... and the last time we went, as much as they tried to make it right, fish and chips was just awful. They swapped out the fish withfresh ones because I felt the breading was still doughy, and it also didn't taste right. I was told they switched from cod toanother breaded fish, but even with a new batch it didn't taste good at all. They did apologize for the inconvenience and didn'tcharge me for the plate. Would love to go back for chips and fish if they go back to their beer battered cod. Otherwise I'dsuggest you choose something else off their menu. Read more
