The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, very roomy. Our server was very nice and pulled in extra help when she didn?t know the... answer to a question about the menu. The quality of the tacos was not good unfortunately. They were cold and did not improve thesecond time they came out. I didn?t feel that I could eat them. Food was lack luster. Just typical Tex-mex style. Waitress suggested the Nachos. They came out wrong/rubbery/burnt. Just no real... reason or taste to come back. Inside was a bit dirty. I always love coming to Chimis. It's a nice location on Cherry Street so there are plenty of things going on and people walking... around to the different shops and bars bear by. The patio is really nice and overlooks the street. The staff is friendly and theservice was quick! Read more
Not so great. Overall, I give the food a D+. It's serviceable. The food is edible and you can have an OK meal here. The queso... lacks flavor, as does much of the food. I get the feeling someone is scared to make anything even a bit spicy. Much of the foodtastes store bought Plenty of alcohol choices and a good size bar. In the area around this restaurant you can find severalMexican restaurants with better food at lower prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for foodMexican, look elsewhere. 39 dollars for lunch for 2 is very expensive when the food is subpar. Read more
