Great northern Chinese food. Peking duck is authentic. Then lamb chops are my favorite. But I do prefer canto style Chinese food... better. The location of the restaurant is amazing too. Reminds me of a restaurant in Paris ???? but I would only suggest peoplecome here for business style dinners. It?s kinda over priced. Read more

Best Peking duck I?ve ever had. Need to make reservations for the duck in advance. The duck skin is crispy and light, not greasy... at all. Crepes are perfectly steamed, very thin and lightweight. The entire experience is amazing. Yes other dishes areoverpriced but for the Peking duck itself I think it?s worth it! Read more

I really enjoyed my two visits to this restaurant. However, it is not the best place for the duck. There are some restaurants in... the lower mainland that cooks their duck better. However, they don?t compare to the professional service, attentiveness, andrestaurant atmosphere. It?s is definitely a great place for a date, small event, and family functions. It?s right beside thewater so the view is amazing, especially during a nice sunny day. Their other dishes are quite good but expensive. Is it worthit, I?d say it?s up for personal opinion. But, I would return for special events. Read more

Overpriced for what you get. Server had the audacity to ask for more tip and wanted me to tip on the after-tax amount. Peking... duck "flaming" is a gimmick. Small portions for price. Service is average. Expect to pay at least $70 per person. Realisticallymore like $80. Pu Er tea starts at $28/pot. White rice is $6/bowl. Ambience is nice, great views. Restaurant is relativelyquiet. Dining area is very clean. Presentation of food is good. Read more

As most reviews here mention, you come here for the nice sunset view and Peking duck! Without a doubt, in my opinion, better... than Mott 32, China Gate, Neptune, etc? This is because they prepare your duck assuming you show up on time and order in atimely fashion, the longer you delay the duck, the quicker it will dry out. Otherwise, everything else is way overpriced! Forinstance, almost $30 for that small vegetable dish! If it was brought out in larger portion, I could?ve accepted the pricing, but that is a portion for two or three people. Go there to try it once for yourself and you can decide if it was worth it! Hugh quality Chinese food (focus on xi?an cuisine and Peking duck) with a waterfront view! Every dish was exquisite. Pricey,... yes, but the service was also great which is rare for Chinese restaurants. The ??? (gourd chicken) and king mushroom casserolewere surprisingly good. Don?t forget to reserve the duck!! - Good view on the patio. Customers can enjoy the sunset and dinner at the same time - Many parking beside the restaurant.... Customers do not have to worry about packing when they get there - Service is excellent. The servers are friendly and have agreat attitude to every customer - Food quality is okay. Beijing duck is a must-try dish, and the rest is alright - Food isnot cheap there. Expect over 70 dollars per person. Read more

Closest Peking duck experience to Beijing that I've had in Vancouver. The fire show where they present the duck is flashy and... unnecessary, but some may enjoy the fanfare, and it certainly doesn't take anything away from the delicious duck. First courseis carved tableside and served with the standard crepes, hoisin, green onions and cucumbers, but also coarse sugar, plum sauce, and pear, which gives a nice variety. Other standout dishes include the pan fried Angus beef with house special sauce and aspicy soup with fish. There's parking available for customers, a small lot at street level, but also a small underground lot(entrance to the lot is close to the restaurant entrance). Read more
