Went to Coast for a birthday party. It was a private room upstairs and had a set menu and gratuity. The service was great and... everything else was going well. The appetizers met expectations and the lobster bisque was rich and tasty. The biggest issue Ihad was the fish. Honestly this is not the level of quality I would expect from Coast but I actually didn’t have muchexpectations either because its a chain by glowbal group. I understand we were a big group and there were multiple fish dishescoming out at the same time but it was insanely tough and dry. It was poorly cooked and I really felt that the chef did not takein any consideration since it was a big group and just sent the overcooked fish out. It’s dangerous to assume because it’s acelebration the consumers won’t raise the issue. It’s a bit disappointing but still 4/5 since our server was great. Read more
Coast! Wow. I don’t know where to start. The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious. Everything that we ordered was... full of flavor, fresh, and filling. They have a great wine selection to pair the perfect wine with your appetizers and entrees.Our server was extremely nice, attentive, and made our experience here very enjoyable. I would also recommend leaving room fordessert or taking one home because their sweets are just as good as their entrees. Although this is a seafood restaurant, thevibe inside is very relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend coming here if you’re in the Vancouver area! Read more
Always enjoy coming here. The food’s excellent, we love their fresh oysters, great ambience. We prefer sitting at the bar... because the bartenders are super friendly, accommodating and professional. The service is excellent, couple of times they giveus complimentary appetizers which we really appreciate. They also have good happy hour menu, our favourite from their happy hourmenu is the fish and chips cone. It’s good to call in advance for reservations because this place gets super busy especiallyon the weekends. Read more
Went during happy hour and got a few items. The oysters were very fresh and delicious, however they were on the small side.... Highly recommended! The calamari was very good - loved the aioli that it came with. The fish tacos fell flat - had a strangebitter taste to it (maybe the veggies or lime) and it just tasted a bit one dimensional in general. They used salmon, which wascooked well. The white sangria tasted like watered down alcohol instead of wine but wow it was strong... The BC Salmon entree(from their normal menu) was cooked perfectly. The skin was so crispy. The mashed potatoes had too much butter, and the veggieswere over-salted. Overall, the portion and price of the happy hour menu is not bad. Wouldn't necessarily come for their regularmenu. I gotta say been meaning to try the seafood ???? tower at Coast for a while now and decided to try it tonight but unfortunately... it was a big disappointment. Firstly I expected it to be a hot seafood dish but it all came out cold. ???? it was like anappetiser and at a ticket of $125 certainly not worth it, be sure about what you ordering. It’s definitely not filling and asyou can see from photos you barely get anything on the two tiered tower with like 8 items at the bottom and and few more on topand once you get through all the shells. Not much to actually eat. Anyway we did it but be aware of what you getting. It’scertainly not worth the value. For a $60 price I could have had prawn ???? garlic bake and steak ???? at the Keg. Simply lackingvalue. Also paid $23 for half a bowl of lobster ???? bisque with no bread ???? or Melba toast. Make sure about what youordering. Our first time to try Coast in celebration of the wife's birthday and they made it truly special for us. We had a feast with the... clam chowder and chili garlic shrimp (we ordered this twice) being our top picks. Our server, Rachel was amazing and hermanager, David made sure everything was perfect. Will definitely try their other offerings next time. Highly recommended if youlove seafood and wish to impress your guests. Read more
We booked a side of the restaurant and was able to enjoy a set meal with appetizer platters. Service was friendly, ambient... lighting, not too noisy, and food was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes. Read more
We went during happy hour, but ordered mostly off the dinner menu. The oysters were so fresh. Cocktails were good. Miso sable... fish and the lingcod tasted great. Our server was attentive. 10/10! Read more
