I can?t stress enough how much I enjoy the Peaceful restaurant on Kingsway. And I also cannot stress enough how terrible this... one is. Awful service, menu items constantly 86?d, miserable staff, and small portions. Do yourself a favour and go to the oneon Broadway. Read more
Extremely disappointing dinner experience. The food was average at best - the only saving grace were the beef rolls. The service... took forever, the server spilled an entire cup of water on me, waited way too long to get our order in when there was only oneother table in the restaurant. The food took forever, and they ended up forgetting one item. We were completely ignored by theserver the entire night. Completely unprofessional and terrible service, and our group left hungry - no apologies from theserver either. We ended up going across the street to the mcdonalds for a better dining experience. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles today, but the noodles were not the nice thick hand pulled ones usually served - instead they were... thinner, mushy and not as good. Still delicious, but I?m not sure why the noddles have changed. Read more
We did a family styile meal and had the eggplant, vege potatoes tools, pork steam buns and Dan Dan noodles with tofu. The vege... options were very good for those that want to change it up. Eggplant is not really my thing but they made it very tasty - stillfirm and full of flavour. The pork steam buns were good, but nothing spectacular. The potatoes rolls are an awesome meatalternative. Great roti roll with hoisin sauce. The Dan Dan noodles were fantastic - great peanut flavour and plenty of sauce.The noodles are unbelievable - a Must Try. Read more
I can?t come to Vancouver without stopping in and having a meal here! The food is selections! They know what they are doing... here! Resturant: Very clean Furniture is clean and in perfect condition with tons of booths Great for large groups & folks withsmall children Service Staff is efficient, fast & friendly Good comes fast, drinks are refilled without asking Food You haveto try the Din Din noodles! The food tastes great. I tried the cilantro lamb, the garlic prawns, the peaceful beef roll, and thin noodles. They make their... own noodles, but the thin is actually too thick to my liking. Ambience is ok but furniture is old, decor is from the previouscentury, and the washroom..., oh, you don't want to go there. We ordered tea, but they never served it to us. Luckily they didnot put it on the bill or I would have been mad! Lastly, they accept only cash or debit! For the the prices they charge, theyshould accept credit cards! Read more
