Simpatico was one of the worst all-round restaurant experiences that I've had in a very long time. I was there on September 10... for an event which the restaurant had sponsored. Despite having about 30 people there, who had RSVPed, they had only one staffmember serving the entire restaurant. The server in question was unspeakably rude to us. She did not take our order duringmultiple trips to the table. She left our food sitting on another table for 20 minutes, before bringing it to us, cold, and notapologizing for the mixup. She didn't take my drink order, so I went to the bar, but was told by the owner (who was comparablyrude and arrogant) that I couldn't order drinks there. I got a grand total of one visit from the server during the 2 1/2 hoursthat I was at the restaurant. The server didn't offer to split up our bills, despite having nine people at the table. When weasked for the machine, she instead brought another bill. She then scolded us for apparently not using the hand signal for themachine (even though this should have been obvious). Unless you feel like being insulted, getting little or no service andgetting bad food, I wouldn't recommend Simpatico. Read more
Good and friendly service. Had the lamb souvlaki. The lamb was overcooked and dry. Not much flavor. Same with the potatoes. The... pizza is supposed to be pretty good and will probably go back and try it. Nice and open layout for the restaurant. Reasonableprices. Read more
Mediocre food and terrible slow service are a bad combination. The food is just ok but severely lacking in flavour. I had the... large souvlaki plate and over half the plate was a heaping and very bland Greek salad. It also comes without a pita. There wereno olives and no olive oil on the salad. There was only one waitress for the entire place and although it wasn?t busy she wasn?tgreat and was slow bringing drinks. I got a draft beer 17 minutes after making my drink order. To top it off when she brought itwas not what I ordered. When I raised the issue she shrugged her shoulders and said ?that?s what they told me it was?. Nofurther investigation was warranted on her part I suppose. You could often see her fiddling on her phone behind the bar whilepeople waited to get their orders taken. This place may have been here for decades but if this service and the recent reviewsindicate anything, it won?t be lasting much longer. Great staff Very fun musical events are holding there! You can dance there till late night in event's nights. Meat and bread is... delicious Pizza is good Ah! Antoni Queen is great drink that I like to have it every time we r going there :D Read more
Ordered some takeout souvlaki last week and it was not only cold but also very low quality food. I had to throw it out! Maybe... their pizzas are good but don't bother with the rest! Read more
The first time I went to Simpatico was more than 10 years ago and it was an amazing experience. I kept going there almost every... year. Last two times, I felt they changed. The wait time from my order to food being ready got too long, more than 40 minutes.The food is now not acceptable instead of delicious. I guess I will never go there again. Simpatico specializes in delicious, homemade Greek and Italian dishes and is known for its famous whole wheat crustpizza. ?? My suggestion is to try a cup of tea after your meal. Hummus and warm bread was awesome! What's most lovely was the who welcomed... us. I recalled my mom. So kind, feels you are at home. Read more
