If you are in the mood to try different types of rolls than the traditional ones. This is the place to go. Hard to argue that... rolls like the Ichiro or Green Lantern should be on your order. I never order traditional rolls from here. It?s an experienceeach and every time. Read more

I hadn't been to the eatery in years, but when I went on a Thursday night with 7 of my friends on a last minute recommendation,... it was definitely a great experience. Not only did they seat us right away, but the server we got was amazing. She was extrapatient with us, but also helped us save money by pulling our alcohol order into 2 pitchers of margaritas, something that isn'tlisted on the menu. When you order here, it's best to order to share and split. My favorite items were the fried chicken andpressed sushi. The food will come out quickly and table space will be tight, so help out by clearing empty dishes, the serverswill do the rest. I highly enjoy this place and would come back soon, especially if you have friends in town looking for a funkyplace to eat sushi. Read more

Has a daily specials menu with appys, rolls and drinks! It was a sunny day so we sat outside. Took a peek inside and super... quirky. The sushi was good, very filling. Read more

Unique dining space. Good friendly service. The salmon nigiri was fine, the rice seemed a tad dry? The volcano roll was good and... also the salmon oshi. The yam fries were actually probably the best dish we had. Read more

The Eatery was fantastic! The interior decor was unique and cool! All the staff were friendly and extremely attentive! The food?... The food was delicious! I ordered a plethora of sushi: the captain crunch, the rainbow roll, spicy tuna and the miss piggy. Thecaptain crunch was my personal favourite! And for dessert had the Bacio Bianco and it was a great way to finish the meal! Theonly downside of this place is the wait time but it is WELL worth the wait! I would love to come back and try everything else onthe menu! Read more

Absolutely love this place. Although I did take out a few times, I could see that The Eatery stands apart from other Japanese... restaurants with their unique interior and their quirky sushi menu. Not your traditional Japanese eatery as the interior has aglowave aesthetic with funky decor glowing under neon and black lights. This is definitely a place I'd like to have drinks withsome friends in a relaxed bar setting eating some funky sushi creations while the DJ is spinning some beats. Since I'm saddledwith kids during a pandemic, I had to settle for takeout and quietly ate with my family while the kids sang along with Frozen 2in the background.... As for the sushi and sashimi, great quality, vibrant colours, creative rolls and all at a great price. Itwas a nice escape from the traditional. Phoned in my order, food was prepared precisely and exactly when they said it would beready. Servers that helped me at the door were friendly and professional. Sad that we didn't eat in, hopefully next time. Wouldfully recommend The Eatery. Read more

It's definitely a funky place with interesting decor and unique ambience. We loved their menu with a wide variety to choose from... with funky innovative names. Their service was fast but the food was decent. We ordered an appetizer of Veggie croquettes whichwas delicious, combination of some of their pressed sushis and veggie rolls and a dessert of Mars attacks. We will definitely gothere again to explore some their other menu items.
