It was a lovely, unique, and special memorable experience!!! The place had many interesting tapestries, carved camels, exotic... pillow furniture, & intriguing artifacts to keep us in wonderment!! Delicious foods and a wonderful, personal, handsome Greekserver who was very personable and shared his thoughts on family with us - from his country. It was fun and we sat in the lowertables- to try to be authentic. Loved our special time there!!! Read more

Excellent authentic middle eastern food. We had the lamb shank and the yogurt marinated lamb. Turkish coffee and mint tea... along with baklava for dessert. We sat in the low booth that made for a private experience. Highly recommend! Food was so goodI forgot to take a picture. Read more

I'm going to do something unconventional and talk about dessert first, because oh my, their knafeh is one of the best sensory... experiences I have ever had. So many amazing textures, an interesting contrast between savory and sweet, and it's just likenothing I've ever tasted before. I recommend it to anyone, it's something to try for sure. The rest of my time at Petra Housewas great too, though! Visited with a friend and we chose the traditional method of sitting on the floor rather than a booth. The waiter who served us was super nice and gave excellent service. They have a pretty extensive Mediterranean menu and I wouldhighly recommend the chicken breast with Petra sauce. My friend enjoyed her gyro. And the mint lemonades were so refreshing! Read more

I went here with my family as my mom was raving about how good the food was. Her and I both got Gyros with salad my aunt and... uncle ordered the shawarma plate and gyro salad and we got a lamb skewer and grape leaves for appetizers. From the moment wegot there the atmosphere was great, the service and our server was nothing short of excellent, they even brought a few thingsout for us to try. And the recommendations for my aunt and uncle who have never had Mediterranean food was spot on. Our foodcame fairly quick and was very fresh and tasted great. I highly recommend them and will be coming back time and time again! Read more

I cant believe how amazing this place is!!! I have no doubt in my mind this is the best resturaunt I have ever been to! The... servers are welcoming and friendly, and the service is fast! The food is so delicious and everything is so filling! Theatmosphere of the reaturaunt all decorated really makes you want to travel to the middle east! The different hummus plates aremouth watering along with the bread. The salad is also one of my favorites, it is very fresh tasting! The tea is my favorite teaof all time and they wash your hands in rose water before eating. The culture of the restaurant encourages you to eat with yourhands and this is always so much fun as you don't often get to do things like that! Also the seating is very comfortable andthere is not a long wait to be seated. The whole experience is very memorable and exciting! I can't wait to go back!!! Read more

I added special instructions to my to-go order to make "gluten free" and also called after placing. I have Celiac disease, as... was explained to them, and my food cannot cross-contaminate with gluten. The gal told me she told the chefs not to includebread. When I opened my order, bread was on top of my food. She took my name down?unfortunately it was just before closing. Thenext day when I called to have them remake the order, the manager said I was at fault because I didn't specify "no bread" on theorder and that his chefs don't understand what "gluten free" means. For my own safety, I can obviously never eat here again, andbased on the manager's attitude towards his customers, you also might consider otherwise. Read more

The atmosphere here is absolutely beautiful. The artwork and presentation of cuisine really make it feel like you took a one way... flight to Jordan. Yes Jordan, as many of their dishes state that there are seven spices from Jordan to season your dish. Weordered the marashkun (I think that's how you say it, it's the lamb dish) and a hummus plate. The bread is a very unique and notlike a pita bread I've really had anywhere else. They're fluffy little things. The dinner was delightful, the atmosphere wasengrossing and the service was great. I will visit again. Read more
