Whoever runs this shop makes their employees act like a funeral is happening. Ordered a veggi bowl with tofu, and the veggies... were shredded carrot and a leaf of lettuce. Never go to this place! Dissapointment every time. Read more
Staff are friendly, but slow. I do not recommend eating here, my rice in my sushi was hot out of the cooker, it did not make for... a good meal, presentation was very poor. Read more
Bad reviews were deleted, do not trust rating. The food here is okay(very inconsistent) but the cost cutting methods they use... to maximize profits is what puts this restaurant at the same level as McDonald's. Each scoop of fish they put in a poke bowl ismixed with 50% cucumber. We may not have much experience with poke in Victoria but this is not standard practice and equivalentto a bar watering down their drinks. The last time I went there my rice was so goopy it was basically rice porridge, a few otherreviews had similar experiences before the owner had google purge the bad reviews. I originally had no intention of reviewingthis restaurant as other reviews summed up my opinion but after they removed all the reviews they didn't like I felt it was bestto warn others not to trust this place. The staff person who served me was very nice. She added generous amounts the whole works of additional toppings to my Salmon... Tsunami poké as per photo. It's about time Victoria has a place serving poké; they have it for a while in Vancouver andEdmonton. I was surprised she chopped an extra fresh avocado in addition to the standard scooping portion into my bowl. Thespicy mayo was nice but she was a little too generous with the poké sauce so I had to stir the bowl a bit more to even out theflavor. Definitely will come back again soon. Read more
The spicy tuna roll is pretty good if you get it early enough in the day, I've gone around 4 and the rice was hard... The ramen... is really not worth getting, cup noodle quality with some meat on it. Also they seem to have an issue with making fresh to orderrolls, my friend ordered a spicy California roll and they were out, so they just took a regular California roll that was sittingout and put hot mayo on top of it. At first I was interested to try a new-to-me bento spot. The place was deserted, which I'm now realizing why. After eating the... food it is very clear the chicken has been sitting since they've opened, and the gyoza was soggy. What bugged me the most was,I went to leave, and their door's hydraulics slow the door about 1/2way open. It bumped my food and about half my chicken, mysalad, and 1 of my gyoza fall to the ground. I catch the rest. The Staff replaced my salad and told me they couldn't replace mygyoza or chicken because it was my fault. Won't be returning. Won't be suggesting. Read more
