As someone in the area, I've been going to Sushi Matsuri for years. Not only do I think the food has improved, but it is... excellent. I will say the main dishes and rice meals are okay, but the sushi is exquisite. You can't go wrong ordering any ofthe sushi, but the nigiri in my opinion is the best on the menu. It is run by a lovely family and they are always kind andwelcoming. I highly recommend you stop by, it will be more than worth your time. Read more
Loved this place! The Philadelphia roll was very good! Along with the rainbow roll and dynamite roll. Staff were also wonderful!... I will be coming back! We got the mango and green tea icecream at the end and figured out mixing them was really good! Read more
Outstanding all around. Was great to see a sushi restaurant where the staff actually have a personality and sense of humour... instead of the usual robots. They were all clearly happy and enjoying their night. Food was also fantastic. Read more

We have been getting take away and visiting for dine-in since they opened. Our favourite local restaurant. Everyone is always so... friendly and the food is always amazing. We've never been less than thrilled. We've never had a bad experience. 10/10. 11/10! Read more
Outstanding sushi and service! All the salmon is super fresh sockeye ? delicious. The spicy salmon cones are great, salmon... avocado rolls delicious?everything was great. We lucked out with a table on the small patio out front across from a park withbeautiful sequoia trees?wonderful setting. And the staff were so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Read more
This was really quite fantastic! The food was tasty, fresh and well-seasoned. The rolls were really tight and tasty, I was... really impressed. On top of that the staff were so friendly, warm and inviting. I also really appreciated that foods that aregluten friendly and vegetarian are clearly identified throughout the menu or where modifications can be made - nice touch.Prices were fair as were their portions. Recently moved in the neighborhood, love their food so much! Both sushi and hot dishes! Service is always great, too I know why... they have so many regular customers I already visited three times in a week! Guess I'll be one of the regulars too.
