Came in with 6 adults and 3 kids and only one person came and gave us menus. Sat for 45 minutes and 2 servers went to other... tables by us multiple times and not once stopped to take even our drink order. Second time coming here and not being served.Instead you get nasty looks from the servers. Id give this place a zero stars. If you plan on sitting down and eating here,bring your own snacks and clear up the rest of your night. Read more
Had dinner there about 6 pm on Thursday night. Was pretty quiet when we arrived. It quickly filled up and got loud, music got... loud, waitress forgot items that were asked for. The food was just okay, nothing special. Boyfriend ordered the 16 oz ribeye,was a bit smaller than that. I had the oriental chicken salad, sauce on the side. The crispy chicken was really dry and seemedto have been sitting out for a while, really hard to chew. Great food! Wings were amazing and so were the tacos. Good service and lots of seating.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and we got seated right away. The food was great, I had the JD Burger, and definitely... recommend it! Overall, if you're in Virginia, MN you'll want to stop by, as the restaurant itself is pretty cool. Read more
Sawmill is the bomb! Not only did our food come promptly, but they have an awesome deck area for outdoor seating. The... environment is very welcoming, and the bathrooms were nicely cleaned which is always nice to see. Make sure to try out the primedip, you won?t regret it! Read more
I had the Cuban Sandwich and Coleslaw- it was amazing! I sat in the cocktail area because I wanted a quieter environment and it... was the perfect distance away from the bar area. I could still hear the music but it wasn't too loud. My server was very nice,attentive, and answered whatever questions I had promptly. The Cuban sandwich was great- it had a good proportion of ham topulled pork, not too much cheese, and great bread. The coleslaw was cold, crunchy, and creamy- it was perfect. The price wasvery reasonable for the amount of food and quality. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. Read more
Met with a friend for lunch and the game at Sawmill, ordered a soda to drink and then food after over an hour wait only the one... soda and no refill and waitress never came back. 1 hour 45 minutes and food was shriveled up and only partially what I ordered.They offered to comp the food which is fine as I never touched mine and my friend only had 2 bites of his. Very poor service andvery depressing that I have to leave hungry. Be lucky if I ever come back to this place for food!!! Read more
Not worth it. Me and a buddy stopped here to eat dinner. They were pretty busy so keep that in mind. He had never been to the... Sawmill before. I told him we could try it, but I never been impressed with the food or service. It took 10 minutes to beacknowledged by the server after we sat or selves at a table. We ordered drinks and looked at the menu. Well, another 10minutes went by, and we still didn't have our drinks, so we just left. We gave them 20 minutes of our time and they gave us abad experience. We ended up downtown at Snickers and had awesome service pizza, wings and beer. Read more
