I can?t even begin to tell you about the service here. I was amazed at our server Michele. She was tentative to us and making... sure we were good. Checked on us a couple times it like night and day compared to the one in Groton. There we feel like we?rebothering them and that?s not the way it Should be. A late review with as long as my whole family and myself have been going here. Prices are very fair for the quality of food... served, portion sizes are sizable and enough to fill up on. Always save room for pie or get a slice or whole pie to take home.We have tried all of them and they are all good. Read more
I love coming here I typically get the cornbread and soup or chili. The chili isn?t that great but the cornbread is amazing.... However today I veered off my typical order and ordered the crispy chicken salad. Well I literally got lettuce with a sprinkleof cheese and what seemed like one if that strip of chicken chopped up. The chicken was good but the salad as a whole was acomplete failure and definitely not worth its $13.99 price I basically paid for probably a quarter of a head of lettuce and onechicken strip. The service was off also I usually order something to go and was literally given the container with no bag oranything I had to ask for one. I?m sure it was an off day perhaps but I?d suggest staying away from the salads and definitelytrying the cornbread. Read more
Wonderful comfort food dishes of all kinds can be found here! Staff is not only friendly but very attentive. Prices are very... reasonable and the portion sizes are large and filling. The whole vibe was one of hospitable invitation. A great diner! Read more
I came here early in the morning, so I wasn't expecting great service, but I was surprised. Although the wait time was a little... long, our waitress was kind and on top of things. My meal wasn't to my liking, but that's only because I stepped out of mycomfort zone. NOTE: the helpings here are HUGE, so be prepared to eat a lot or bring some food home.
