I truly enjoyed my dining experience at Prime 115! I went around lunch hour so it was slow, my waitress was very attentive and... sincere. She tended to all of my needs. My meal was exquisite! I loved every single bite. The beef stroganoff was quite goodwith the short rib meat. I wish there was more meat, however still good. I also had the green beans with the stroganoff, it wasa different flavor. If you like nuts, that's the perfect side dish for you. My seafood salad was also very seasoned and had theright about of seafood within the dish. It is slightly salty but still good. Last but not least, the chocolate cake was amazing!I definitely recommend this place for those with significant others. If you want to dine solo, do so at lunch hour. Read more
I am blown away at how good this place is! Living in Houston, a mecca for great food and foodies, I was expecting this place be... good but I did have reservations about it. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint!! The ambiance is charming, and thereis plenty of parking around the square. At the advice of another reviewer, I asked to be seated downstairs and they gladlyaccommodated that request. Our waiter (Dale, Don, Doll? ... that's a joke only he and I will get) was fantastic! He answeredall our questions and tolerated my joking about his name (I couldn't really hear him and thought he literally said his name wasDoll). LOL!! I started with a glass of wine, which was just what I needed since I had just arrived from Houston not more thanan hour earlier. I then got the crudites, which had lots of fresh veggies, green goddess dipping sauce and pimento cheese. Formy entree, I ordered the prime filet, cooked medium rare. The taste and quality were what I expect from some of the bestrestaurants in H-town, so I was pleasantly surprised here! I moved away from this area almost 2 decades ago and cannot believehow Waxahachie has stepped up it's game. I highly recommend this place, whether just having a drink or eating dinner. $$$$ but worth it! Try the Beef Stroganoff topped off with a short rib! Delicious. They d Have the greatest martinis of all... kinds! Be careful though, they charge extra for every little thing. This place has been right under our nose, and we didn’t even know it! Absolutely delicious. I can’t believe it’s taken us... this long to discover Prime 115. The cheese board was beautiful, the steak was perfect, and the Brussel sprouts were my favoriteside (closely followed by the grilled zucchini). The service was superb. Great to have this option downtown. Food- Lunch was good. Small lunch options which is the right move here. For sure want to... explore the dinner option next time. Service- Our waitress was great! Average quality steak, nothing special! This location is in a nice area in downtown Waxahachie and the interior of the... restaurant is appealing and well decorated. The atmosphere is perfect, but the best cut of ribeye just didn’t impress me. Iordered the Delmonico Ribeye “Oscar style” (add $17) with 5 grilled shrimp ($10) and the brussel sprouts. The steak was cookmedium rare as recommended but was tough and lacked flavor for a meal that cost $109, and that was with a tea ( tea lackedflavor as well) no alcohol was purchased and the meal was for one person. My waiter Marquise was attentive and friendly, thoughhe was working the bar and fairly busy. To top it off, the place charged me a credit card surcharge! At any rate, I was notsatisfied overall and felt cheated out of $100. I recommend finer establishments in the DFW area like many other reviewssuggest. I chose to eat here specifically for the purpose of reviewing this location at the request of a third party and choseto publish the review here as well. We went here for the first time last night, September 9th, for our first wedding anniversary. We're glad we went here because it... was outstanding!! Our waitress Gracie was a lot of fun & the GM Michael came by to check on us to make sure everything was up topar. We had the green lip mussels, sesame shrimp, NY Strip steak (which we left the to go box when we took some more pictures????) and asparagus. Everything was delicious & cooked to perfection!! Absolutely great atmosphere and music. It gives you a speakeasy kind of vibe that is family friendly. The food choices are great... and the staff is very helpful. The Delmonico steak is A+ and done to order. The brussel sprouts are delicious as well. Read more
