Came here with big group of family. They accommodated us the best they could. All the waitresses were great. The food is... amazing. Small menu that packs a punch. Can't wait to come back! Atmosphere of joviality, family, giggling children and Sunday restaurant family time, pleasant. Comfortable seating, choice of... high or low table or bar. This restaurant does all of its dishes from scratch or as the polite waitress Ashley stated, ?? ascratch kitchen? This space originally was a bar since approximately 2010, (give or take) then became the Bistro we are diningin now. One big aspect: Zero Coffee. Okay, if you?ve been following, yes a coffee connoisseur!. The two dishes. The chicken fetawrap was tasty, correct amount of sauce and as seen in pictures, looks as good as it tastes. My six cheese Mac, succulent bakedcheese crust topping. The pasta itself could stand a little more salt in the boiling and preparation. I like my saucesflavorful, packed, spicy and temperature wise- hotter than Luke-warm. The server brought the cast iron dish out and it wasn?t ashot as expected. Every single person there was so kind! I've never experienced anything like it. Our server went over the menu with us and... answered any questions we had. I cannot say enough amazing things about Avenues. We come here regularly. The menu is small but they nail the food every time.... I have had almost everything on the menu or have tasted everything on the menu. The bottled pops are great. The cakes are to diefor. The servers are all delightful and attentive, they can get super busy sometimes so the wait is annoying but generally I'vehad good service each and every time. Great experience dinning at the Bistro. Super easy flow of the experience. Seated quickly, bar staff had drinks ready fast. ... Small menu with great options. First time visiting this place after many recommendations about how great it is and also it is Halal! We ordered a variety of... items off of the menu: loaded nachos, shrimp gumbo, buffalo chicken wrap, wings, and fries. The Avenue is definitely more of adifferent vibe then what I?m usually use to. It?s a different atmosphere. for someone who wanted to get a meal with my familyand be served it was overstimulating how many different servers come to your tables and explain the dishes. At some point Ididn?t know who was our table waiter The food itself was not my style. Looking at the menu I got excited about the way the foodwas described and it all sounded unique. The food was very unique compared to other restaurants. We got BBQ wings, however theyhad their own kind of sauce and didn?t carry traditional bbq. Dang son. This place wow?d me. I?ve been to a lot of good restaurants in Ann Arbor, but this was in a bit of a different area... than I?ve tried previously. They had an awesome atmosphere. Very clean. Nice servers willing to explain items and kept watersfilled. The food I ended up getting was the Korean Brisket Street Tacos and the 6 Cheese Mac. Definite 10/10, would orderagain. Beer selection was good too. Honestly was kind of jealous looking over at the bar. I?ll have to come back again. Read more
My wife and pulled up to Avenue around 5:00pm for what is a early dinner for us. The atmosphere was vibrant and bright. There... was a short 15 minute wait for two. When we were seated, we proceeded to get excellent service for our entire time. The food wasabsolutely delicious. Loved the shrimp tacos and my wife had the chicken feta wrap. We shared the Jalapeño dip appetizer(sogood). The drinks were very tasty too. I will definitely be taking another visit to avenue bistro. Read more
