Never ate it before we were looking for a good fried chicken place and this hit the spot. Food was HOT which is great because... you knew it was fresh not like some places who fee's you cold chicken. When we are in the Waco area again we will be hunting fora Bush Chicken. Read more

Ordered 3 piece boxes. Did get to choose pieces desired and they almost got it right. Seemed to not be able to tell a thigh... from white meat. The flavor was good BUT the piece size was extremely small. PRICE WAS TOO HIGH FOR AMOUNT OF CHICKENRECEIVED. Two boxes each with 3 very small pieces and 1 roll cost over $20. I probably will not visit again but again it is afranchise chain so other locations may rank higher. Read more
This is a nice country town chicken spot. The staff seems relatively young but very professional and polite. Their menu seems... very pricy but the service is great. As a first timer, the experience was great but the chicken was not impressive --- chickenhad no flavor, fries had no salt and were a bit overcooked, and the sweet tea was not sweet. The only reason for the 3 stars isbecause of the customer staff --- they deserve it; it's hard to get great customer service these days. Read more

Delicious fresh chicken. The french fries are delicious. The rolls are very good too. Purchased a liver dinner and I was so... happy with it. My husband got the crunchy juicy chicken tenders and they were excellent. Not too salty or spicy, the rightamount of seasoning for chicken tenders. They are great for dipping in your favorite sauce or it comes with fresh cream gravy.I have excellent cold refreshing iced tea???? that was not bitter. The service is excellent! This place has gone up in price and down in quality. Small crunchy overcooked tenders. Cold fries. Mashed potatoes (instant)... still had dry flakes in them. They do have good tea. Lots of other great options for chicken out there just not this place. Read more
