Best Klobásník is west and they have a Great meat market. Love the Dog park for when we have the Pup with us. Always a stop if... we are heading to Austin , San Antonio or worth the extra hour on way back from Houston and Galveston. Read more
Super good BBQ and sweets. Got the 2 meat plate with brisket and turkey. The brisket was tender and had good flavor from the... fat. The turkey was tasty. Also got beans and really good sauerkraut. The bbq sauce was a compliment to the meats and theyprovided extra bread. Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Read more
Been driving by this place every time I drive from Austin to Ft Worth and back. Saw this place on the Texas Bucket List and... Shane has never let me down! Just had my first experience here and had my first Texas kolache as well! Damn, I didn?t knowwhat I was missing! Since I have nothing to compare to, I?ll just say it was simply Amazing!!! Fun place with a bakery andmeat shop and the customer service was second to none. Will be my new go to when doing my drives back and forth. I highlyrecommend this place. Gas prices are what they are, and they have clean bathrooms. We only stop here when we are traveling through because we don?t... live in West, Texas. I will say I?m giving this place three stars because if you are looking for something decent to eat thebarbecue plate was pretty good. It is not the best barbecue I have ever tasted, but it is definitely better than stopping atMcDonald?s or subway. Read more
Stopped for a quick bite. Heard great things about this place and it?s history. Very packed and busy. Decided to try the brisket... stuffed kolache. Wasn?t much ?stuffed? inside. BBQ tasted old and wasn?t much flavor. BBQ was laying flat like it was pusheddown before baking so there was a huge gap for air between the meat and inner bread. Felt like opening a bag of potato chips. SoI smashed down the sandwich so everything was touching. Nothing but air :/ Read more

Traveling on Veteran's Day, which is why it's as packed as I'd ever seen it. I love coming here. There's so much to look at and... I love their kolaches! ???? They have a variety of foods, snacks, pastries, even frozen yogurt. They are very well staffed, soeven though the lines are long, there's not much wait. If you want to pick up some giftables, they have shirts, socks (evensome with pockets), books, cups, mugs, wind chimes, coasters, bags, jackets, wine, ornaments, blankets, pajamas, toys, plush,garden decor, slippers... There's SO MUCH here. It's so neat to stop and walk around here or just take a break and enjoy somefood on one of the tables. They also have a dog park behind the building so that you can have your pet run for a bit. Theweather is cold and rainy right now, so the lights went out and we could buy last minute items since the card machines weren'tworking... Also, gas pumps are out. Read more
