We visited in mid-August 2022 and sat on the patio. We were there in earlier than dinner time, at about 5pm and were the only... ones there. So amazing! As we walked in the door we were welcomed with such joy. Grace was our server and very attentive. And the food, oh... my god, the food. So delicious. I would highly recommend this place. They just started staying open later on Sundays, (after3pm) and we were so lucky to find this place. My 12 year old son loaded up on the seafood pasta before hockey and ate it all!Highly recommend! Update: Dear sir/Madam Please review my profile and send your wrong claims in reply! 1) My sister's Salmon was fully burnt... and this is a big claim that "You are the best in Canada" because at least four customers are here to say that this branch hadissues today in your restaurant! 2) It wasn't busy at all and there were only two tables busy beside us in the entirerestaurant! 3) If everything was ok, which wasn't, why your staff proactively gave us discount cards and apologized for all thebad experiences we went through? All of us are ready to prove all points I mentioned as the other two also are google reviewswith more than 7 million views. We checked this restaurant on a public holiday in the afternoon in an almost quiet timethere: To make it shorter, briefly, it was; - Too slow service - Not professional waiter and waitress - Delay on doing yourrequest which is causing your drink to come to you in the middle of eating your food - Their negligence is causing staff to dropor throw many things on the table or you - One of us had salmon which completely burnt and she was waiting for a long time tohave the proper one. The only reason I gave three is the location, food taste and ambiance of the restaurant were good. As yousee even I don't have enough pictures of the food as everyone was unsatisfied with all mentioned points. The location is pretty good and it’s right across West Vancouver Marina. And the environment is very chill with plants around.... The bar area has great decoration. The food there is definitely well done, only thing is for the steak, you might want order onelower degree of doneness to perfect fit your demand. Service are very well there, so speak of all, I’ll mark 5. Read more
Wow a new spot with great food on the north shore in West Vancouver, JJ Kitchen. I'm tardy in posting this from our meal from... October 22, 2021 so maybe not so new anymore. We had the Beef Wellington and the Ahi Tuna, so delicious. Can't wait to go backfor the brunch menu and im looking forward to hanging out on the front patio when the warm weather returns. Found this little new gem in walking distance to our place. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the design is beautiful. We sat... next to the fireplace which made the experience so lovely. I ordered the mussels while my husband had the steak. The sauce forthe mussels was amazing with a large portion. It was absolutely delicious. The steak was done very well and the vegetables werefresh with a lovely variety of baby broccoli, bog choy and carrots. They also served us complimentary mac and cheese appetizerwhich was delightful and comforting. The manager came and checked in with us and was a wonderful host. Just had a birthday lunch with my wife. Cozy environment, home feeling decoration and very welcoming vibe. We ordered mussels... and carpaccio for appetizers, seafood linguine and burger ???? for main course. Foods are great overall, just the scallop kindaovercooked in the pasta.
