Some of the best and freshest baked goods ever. Lava cookies are so good

If you eat gluten-free, then you'd know how depressing that can be. Oftentimes, you have to settle for "good enough...for... gluten-free," and that's the best-case scenario, the best that you can hope for. You know, they're okay, but not exactlysatiating. The baked goods from Still Delicious bakery, however, are incredible. They aren't just "good for something that'sgluten-free," they're good, period. If you don't say that they're g-free, nobody would be able to tell, seriously. It's justtoo bad that I live in New Hampshire, because I would have become a regular customer otherwise. While vacationing in OldSaybrook with my family, I felt really left-out when they could enjoy fresh Krispy Kreme donuts, while I couldn't. So, Isearched for the nearest gluten-free bakery to us and found this one. My husband and I went in, and the man who worked there wasvery patient and explained to us what each item was. I ended up purchasing a paleo coconut muffin (super hot and fluffy!), sourcream coffee cake (it tasted so good, it almost felt sinful to eat, LOL), and a giant loaf of unsliced bread (the inside issoft, moist, and fluffy with lots of air pockets, comparable to the inside of a freshly baked baguette!). What I loved most washow bread-y and yeast-y the bread tasted, like a loaf of yeast-risen wheat bread! Just go to this bakery already. Everythingthere is baked in small batches by someone who knows what they are doing. Read more

Many in my family have celiac disease and need to eat gluten free. I ordered several types of GF cookies to make a cookie... platter for Christmas Day. I also ordered the whoopie pies. Everything was delicious and and looked beautiful too. I do wish Ihad taken a photo! It's so wonderful having a dedicated gluten/allergen free bakery close to home and knowing everyone, allergies or not, will appreciate the baked goods. Read more

Gluten free heaven. I had a slice of cake for my. Birthday. It has been 3 years since I have had to become gluten free. This... cake was so delicious I bought a second slice. So worth the drive /stop. I am thinking about when I can next take a drive inthat direction. Read more

Definitely exceeded my expectations! The bread is perfect, not dense like you'd typically find with gluten free breads. The... cupcakes are light and fluffy, the cookies were nice and soft, tasted fresh like they'd been baked the same day. The bagels arethe best gluten free bagels I've ever had, and I have tried a variety of them purchased from the store and from other bakeriesin the state. I would highly recommend this place and I will absolutely be returning!!! Read more

This is a good gluten free bakery. I had a slice of their coconut cake which was amazing and a chocolate lava cookie brownie... thing which was good but with the name chocolate lava I was expecting there to be melted chocolate in it and there wasn't.Theowner was nice enough to heat it up for me. Both of these items tasted super fresh like they were just baked. I also had a cupof tea. There are boxes out for you to make a selection from. The first one that I was interested in was expired by severalyears so check the expiration dates. There is a table where you can eat at the bakery which is a plus. This place is expensive.I am not comparing them to a regular bakery that uses inferior ingredients but to other gluten free bakeries that also useorganic ingredients. However, to be fair some of the bakeries that I am comparing Still Delicious to don't use dairy which couldexplain some of the price difference. Having the option to get a gluten free cake here with real butter cream frosting isabsolutely wonderful! Still Delicious does offer some vegan items without dairy. Overall I had a positive experience at thisplace. Read more
