Visited Los Cabos for dinner yesterday and it was a brilliant experience. The restaurant gives an authentic impression as soon... as you walk in and you won't be disappointed. We visited the day before without a reservation so didn't get a seat so we madeone this time. It's recommended to do so as it has limited seating when bad weather moves in as the outside seating can't beused. The staff were great and will go through the menu if you need to. As we were a group of 5, we went for a range of dishesso we can try a few things and everything was great. We don't find many Mexican places in UK apart from some high street chainsso this gave me a chance to try some authentic dishes. Highly recommended and the pricing was very good coming to around $30per head. Read more
Great little Mexican joint. Easy to find, parking out back, nice patio and they allow dogs. What's not to love? Portions are... big, service was very attentive, and prices are fair. My only complaint is that they should add Birria Tacos to their menu. Myfav that they didn't have but the burrito me and my wife ordered was really good. Loaded and hot. Do try Los Cabos if you haven?t already. We went there today to celebrate my husband?s birthday with our 5 months old infant. As... someone who has taken mexican food only from fastfood chains, this was certainly the best place to try authentic mexican with somany vegetarian and vegan options. Their portion size is good and the staff is very very friendly. Here is a little sneakpeak ofour dinner tonight. (Big D?s burrito platter, Bonfire Flantas, Queso Fundido {forgot to take a snap of it}, virgin mangomargarita, and jurritos in Guava flavour{ its a kind of pop that they import from Mexico}) Their patio was closed unfortunatelybecause of the rain but overall we loved our experience and made our special day extra special as it was our first dine-in withour infant! ?? The restaurant caught our eye as we drove by and since there aren?t many Mexican options in Whitby, we decided to give it a... try. We got the mango margarita and daiquiri, both did not have a strong mango taste, it was mostly just ice and slush. Weordered the Surfer Girl Burrito (veggie) and the Fajita Burrito (veggie, chimichanga style and dirty). The portions were verygenerous, but taste was average. The beans tasted like canned beans, and cheese tasted like fake spray-on cheese. Both mypartner and I had stomach issues the morning after, this has never happened in the past when we have Mexican food or when wemake it at home. The bill came out to about $70 for just the two of us, which I don?t believe was worth it. Overall, the tastewas alright and they make up for it in portions. Wow!! I?m almost 40, and I?ve never really been a big fan of Mexican restaurants, if I?m honest, but this place instantly... changed everything for me! Okay, so we were sitting on the patio, which is admittedly roadside, but the set up is so pretty. Ihad a peak inside too while waiting for our food, and I love it? Was ready to give a good review for the ambience, but then ourmeals arrived. YUM! I normally forget to take photos when I love the food, but this surprised me so much that I clocked in acouple. I had the Enchiladas and my partner (who has been recommending the place to me for a few months) had a seafood?Marciscos? pizza. Sooooooo tasty! Everything was fresh and the flavours were dancing off each other. I even gobbled up all thesalad on the side with its authentic dressing. Her pizza? Wow! It?s not a regular crust. So thin an crispy? describing it as agiant nacho would not do it justice! Our Mexican fried ice cream just arrived! Gonna take a snap of it before it?s gobbledup. Amazing restaurant with the best fish tacos I've had! I had the one which had fried fish. They have a pan seared version too.... The tacos are crispy, delicate and flavourful. For starters we had the 4 cheese queso with cherizo which was perfect for a coldnight. The service is phenomenal too, smiles all around! Highly recommended. Read more
