Food was good but the price were wrong. What I meant to say is our bill was supposed to be $70 (includes other charges), but we... got $80 bill which includes tax and service charge. Their prices were different than the menu. On top of that, Even though wewere waiting so long for our food, we were charged 12% of the service charge. What type of service did I get, I have no clue. We LOVE the Zen. I called ahead to ask if they can make chili chicken gluten free- they did it for my chicken and my fried rice... too. I was wondering how it would taste but it was fantastic! As with any GF substitute, it didn't get quite as crispy but theydid an amazing job making it taste the same and it had a nice coating. I only thought to take a pic after I'd eaten half ofit...lol Best wheat-free meal I've had in a long time! More exclamation marks!!! Read more

I love your food. Very tasty. One comment I have is that when the hot food goes into the foam takeout containers I feel like... the foam melts a bit and leaches chemicals into the food. I have seen other places put a sheet of wax paper or tin foil in thebottom so the food isn't contacting the foam. Just a thought... Read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE food. Me and my wife recently moved to Oshawa and it?s our first time we ordered something in this location.... Waited for so long for such a disgusting food. We ordered chicken Hakka noodles and chicken friend rice. As I said, both disheswere requested with Chicken. But, I couldn?t believe there were hardly any chicken in that. Good halal food, generous quantity. They have great lunch deals available. You can adjust spice level while placing order in... person or over phone. They actually serve good portion of meat, not flour coated tiny meat pieces dipped into sauce like someother hakka restaurants. Their food is not too salty either, just well balanced. Delicious Hakka food. Lots of great options. Everyone keeps recommending the Zen Special Chicken. I thought it was good, but... only if you like a bit of sweetness.
