September 2022: I have not been to the Original Pancake House in several years and wanted to try them out. Without a reservation... on a weekday, the wait for a table was not long at maybe 5 minutes at most. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes, a western omelet,and orange juice, which were all delicious ???? Pros: * The customer gets a lot of food for a reasonable price. The plate sizedomelet was too much to eat for me. * Good, friendly service. The wait staff brought food out promptly and accurately. * Thepancakes were top notch and did not require any syrup on them--the whipped cream was sufficient. * Plenty of parking infront. Cons: * The omelet was too big and can be a share size between the wife and I for the next trip. Otherwise, nocomplaints. Conclusion: I will return. I Remember it being super busy on weekends so may need to make a reservation duringthose times. Read more
The omelets are as big as your plate! No joke, there must be 6 eggs there with the fixings. And you get buttermilk pancakes on... the side. I'm not from the Cleveland area, so the coffee is a bit stronger in these parts. Overall, good food and quick service. Read more
Loved the food! To avoid the crowds or wait you would need to come during weekdays. You can?t reserve and parties of more than 6... people will need to be split on weekends. Food wise, i would recommend the bacon and eggs, they also come with pancakes. Allgreat! Read more
What a delicious place to refuel after a 13 mile run. I had the Blueberry Delight Pancakes ???? with Spinach, Feta & Sun-Dried... Tomato Omelette. So very delicious. I will be heading back there soon. Read more
This is a great place to stop for breakfast. As an out of towner, I was looking for a breakfast spot other than the usual chains... and this came up as a spot not to far from the hotel where we stayed. I am so glad we found this place!! If I never havebreakfast again, I would be satisfied!! Our server was very friendly and checked on us often. The menu is extensive, there musthave been about 20 pancake options!! We ordered the Dutch apple, which is one of their signature pancakes. It has apples bakedin and a special cinnamon sprinkled on top and it is Huge!! We also had the Dutch apple waffle ( which I preferred over thepancake). The waffle had diced apples cooked in the batter and topped with Granny Smith apples. The waffle was nice and fluffyand just overall delicious. Finally the green chille omelet definitely lived up to the other reviews. I swapped out the regsausage with turkey sausage and it was amazing. They cook the omelets in the oven and is the size of the whole plate!! I couldnot finish it all. Great, tasty food. But definitely too large of proportions. At about 1/4 (almost 1/3) of the GIGANTIC green chili omlette and... gave up. Came with 3 pancakes that I could not eat alone. Definitely a sharable meal for 2. Staff was nice and wore masks. The(what I think is the manager) was double masked. Wait time was good! Usually packed so we got in quickly by chance.. Was told 15minute wait time and only waited for about 8. Would like to see better spacing between tables through the pandemic, but Iunderstand their demand and making space for everyone. One of the best places for breakfast I came back more than once if you are a fan of pancakes or omelettes of all kinds, waffles... and toasted toast, as well as brioche with eggs and grated almonds, and the list goes on. The service was amazing and the food was better. I was able to have scrambled eggs with chorizo and a tortilla with what tasted... like fresh Chile sauce. The pancakes were thick and crispy around the edges and served piping hot. The bacon was thick andcrispy. The coffee was AMAZING. I'm so glad I found this place. Serving sizes were large and there was no lacking in thequality of food. I'll definitely be back! Read more
