St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, which means a full weekend of celebrations!

To help soak up all those pints of Guinness and green beer, we’ve rounded up where — and what — to eat St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Continue the St. Paddy Day weekend celebrations with an Irish breakfast at the Tara Inn in Scarborough. This cozy Irish pub serves up plates full of eggs, bacon rashers, black pudding, scones and homemade Irish Wheaten Bread every Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m. The Céilí Cottage also offers a full Irish breakfast with all the fixings.

LUNCH

On Saturday, March 17, Montgomery’s Inn has a St. Patrick’s Day Ceilidh (traditional social gathering) for the whole family. This historic tavern will be serving Irish stew with freshly-baked bread for just $5. Built in the 1830s by the Montgomery family, who immigrated from Ireland, the inn is now a museum as well.

DINNER

Soak up a full weekend of celebrations with The Céilí Cottage’s traditional Sunday roast dinner. Be prepared for some prime rib with green beans and Yorkshire pudding, to haggis with neeps, tattoos and a whiskey gravy, or smoked Ontario ham with a brown sugar and cider glaze.

AND…

DRINKS OF COURSE!
