There are numerous dining options available in Lubbock; however, we do not recommend making this establishment a regular choice. During our recent visit, our entire staff experienced significant issues. Despite a relatively quiet dining area with no wait, our food arrived an hour late and was served cold, with incorrect orders. The server assured us that our orders were accurately recorded, suggesting a discrepancy in the kitchen's execution. Furthermore, our beverage orders were also mishandled, and when we requested the correct items, we were informed that we would be charged for the incorrect ones. Management's lack of involvement was notable, as they delegated communication to a staff member who bore no responsibility for the errors. Upon settling the bill, one of our colleagues encountered unnecessary scrutiny regarding her payment method, as her unique name, Star, prompted unwarranted questioning regarding card ownership. Despite providing identification, including a driver's license matching the credit card, she faced undue inconvenience. The manager, Diane, demonstrated inadequate communication skills and failed to effectively address the issues encountered during our visit. It is concerning that someone lacking such essential managerial qualities oversees a restaurant, as effective communication is crucial in resolving customer concerns and fostering a positive dining experience. It's been months since our visit to this location, I've refrained from leaving a review during the heat of the moment. It's essential to approach feedback with a clear mind and collected thoughts. No individual should endure the frustrating and disappointing experience we encountered during our visit.
